2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

If this is the full extent of the plan, I don't see how this would end with anything other then all the Hamas fighters involved in this operation getting killed and Gaza getting razed. This was clearly planned out, so I figure there's got to be more to the plan that hasn't happened yet. Maybe Hezbollah will invade from the north? The PIJ will raid settlements in West Bank? Syria will retake the Golan? Or all of the above? Then there's the question of how Iran might figure into this.
Maybe, big MAYBE, the plan was to go in, capture a bunch of civilians and military hostages (we have seen them doing that a lot today), only kill a couple of soldiers that stand in your way and get back to gaza to negotiate, it kinda makes sense because hamas is surely panicking that most of their allies are dumping them (egypt and saudis especially).

But if that was the case im sure hamas leadership coudnt control their sandnigger militia, and now we have dozens or maybe hundreds of unarmed israelis being slaughtered on video american school shooter style, you are not negotiating yourself out of that, if i was hamas leadership i would be talking the first plane to iran right now.

If I were Palestinian right now and know that Israel will disproportionately respond, I would have to imagine there would be nothing left to lose. This is definitely a bad situation and many innocent people are going to die because of it.

It might also just be a case of dying on their sword because they see the writing on the wall. All their backers apart from Iran are increasingly neutral or even friendly with Israel. Their position is going to be untenable anyways, so why not go out with a big blast. Evidently they surprised the IDF.

That's what I thought at first, but then why are they taking hostages back to Gaza? Wouldn't it be easier to just kill them and keep rampaging until they're wiped out? Seems like there'd have to be more to it.

I'm curious. Since this is technically a parachute (?), would attacking paragliders be considered a war crime?
These are powered paragliders, not parachutes, so I doubt it. They are classified as experimental aircraft by the FAA.

Trying to get Bing to generate the USS Liberty Incident to post on twitter and say a US ship was attack and it is shutting me down at every opportunity.
Paragliders though are very old school shit and impressive.
They were flying low too so it was a little different with the self propelled motors.
You need to be a bit clever with the prompt, eg. "An israeli plane reenacting an attack on a sinking ship with an American flag, photorealistic." It hard-blocks "bomb" or "burning" but "attack" works. Feel free to shitpost with these.

Good thing I chose yesterday to visit my parents house and sleep over there. It's pretty much Yom Kippur part 2, with the Palestinians using a national holiday and a Saturday to make a highly coordinated assault. It's amazing how this shit wasn't caught, and I expect the retaliation will be Total Hamas Death.

The question if there will also be a Hezbollah infiltration at the same time, but it would have probably happened by now.

Why not post the source? What is to be gained by just saying " I heard a guy say some shit happened in so and so" instead of just disclosing where the info comes from?

Anyway, from Clash Report on twitter, the militants appear to have taken a little old lady hostage. No idea where that account gets it from, but the weather and chaos match up with this being current.

Could be shock, but she looks like she's having fun

They hope to get ransom money maybe? Unless Hamas has some amazing plan this is all going to end with Israel bombing Gaza and tripling down on settler programs.

I can't believe this is an Israeli false flag. There's no way the Mossad would kill Jews in an attack. Maybe they'd kill Americans (USS Liberty, Operation Susannah, 9/11?, etc.), but not Jews. So assuming this is a legit Hamas operation, here's what we've got so far:
Why do you find it so hard to conceive? They've done it plenty of times throughout history.
Especially when there is a huge fissure between two groups in Israel it seems prime to me.

I'm not saying its IDF through and through. I'm just saying. They knew it was coming, stood down and let it happen in the area it was going to happen.
Its not that hard to envision.
Just like The US Government with 9/11 they didn't blow shit up.
They just let people carry out their plans.

Why do muzzies like striking you guys during important holidays? For how obsessed with honor and shame they are, shouldn't this be seen as bad?

From what has been said, they fired so many fuckign missles the iron dome shut down. If that bares otu to be true, it's a lot more going on than some hamas guys getting rowdy. Shit could go sideways quick if a state power (iran maybe) gets involved.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a statement from the convocation in Tel Aviv, at the IDF Headquarters:

— "Citizens of the State of Israel, we are at war. Not an operation, not an escalation — at war
We are at war and we will win"

Also Israel citizens flee settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip

There would be a plausible reason for the Israeli government to intentionally have their guard down if you want to think about plausible conspiracies. They currently have had quite the clash between secular and liberal Israelis vs the more conservative Israelis over judicial reform and things like ultra-Orthodox Jews having to be drafted or not. This crisis would let the government look nice when they respond and get their big "lets all unify to save the country" moment.
