I get where you're coming from, but it's not just employment. It's a crime in all 50 states to drive without a license, if the DMV required the shot to enter then driving while unvaccinated becomes technically illegal. Tons of government services are necessary for regular people to live in current year.
I think of private and public sectors as the same thing in the end. Only the Supreme Court stopped Biden from mandating vaccines for huge swathes of the private sector. Few to no companies issued commitments of non-compliance, while individuals against the mandate were largely muffled. No mass walkouts were planned, and no mass resignations were arranged. It was to be "business as usual" with 1/4-1/3 of the company in question being fired.
I have no respect for nurses, doctors, etc. before getting to know them. In large hospitals most nurses I have seen are either gorilla nigger women or the queerest fags ever, and the doctors are usually women, Indian, or Chinese who can't speak English. After the Chinko-Flu started they all expected to be treated like war heroes. I don't care if they're vaccinated, half of them have aids and/or felonious black boyfriends, the other half eat dogs and cow shit.
Tangentially related though not a response to anyone in particular: flipper babies exist, uranium pills were prescribed by doctors, who also used to recommend smoking or giving soda with cocaine in it to small children. In current year, few doctors will advise against hormonal alteration and genital mutilation of adults and children.
Medical professionals sometimes come to the wrong conclusions, sometimes intentionally and sometimes not. Cope. Seethe. Dilate. Stop worshipping men as gods, they are not.

And that's the crux of our disagreement.
I put bigger scrutiny on the public sector because my taxes pay their salary. I elect their management team. For all intents and purposes, they are my (and your) property and I will have them pick as much cotton as they are contractually obligated to do. They put food on their table by stealing 20% of our paychecks, that's their penance.
I support private sector unions, little men should be able to stand up to the big players. Public sector unions? Unions are for people, not property, and by leeching off my paycheck, being a government parasite, someone makes themselves property.
If the federal government said tomorrow that all glowies need to get "the jab", I wouldn't lose 10 minutes of sleep. Same for state workers. My concerns would arise when they mandate it for the private sector.

If that's our only difference then I don't think we have much of a difference. All I'm saying is the feds usually blur the line between public and private with federal contractors and some other categories, all of which were ready to bend the knee overnight to any vax mandate. Just like YouTube alternates between platform and publisher, lots of companies are "private" but follow government employee standards because they're also "public".
My personal opinion is because they like to change what falls into which category, any covid vaccine mandate could end up with a universal mandate. Vaccine passports were and are touted worldwide, especially by the biggest billionaires, so any inch could lead to a mile.

Not going to agree or disagree with this but I WILL say I worked in the service industry when the lockdown first hit and I made by far the most in tips ever during the first few months of it. Didn’t hurt that I worked in a rich, white yuppie neighborhood filled with virtue-signaling libs who wanted to look as generous and pro-working class as they possibly could. It was nice. Otherwise 2020 and the lockdown was gay. That year kept getting worse and worse. By the time the GF riots hit in late May I really thought we were in some Book of Job/Old Testament apocalyptic event or some shit.
Billions must die. They were supposed to… They didn’t. Lame.

I listened to medical professionals too. My doc said "You already got it, you're young, in good shape, you probably don't need to get the vaccine".
