The thing about gays and women is that it's too manipulative and forced. Younger gays tend to have a harder time fitting in with the boys, but the girls are always more than open and welcoming. However it's rarely all that genuine. The gay kid becomes their GBF or temporary boyfriend whose value can easily be turned around if they decide he's gonna get treated like one of the girls and ousted and made an example of or if she dates a guy that doesn't approve of him and she absorbs his personality and starts mistreating him. But despite how conditional it is, women still want to claim sainthood over being the one to befriend the poor gay kid as if trying to help someone in need should only be done for a reward. That's where I've seen a lot of misogynistic gays stem from. Like racism, it doesn't develop in a bubble.

Sometimes that's even formed or fueled from a gay guy's inability to be swayed by typical manipulation tactics from women. If they do have straight male friends or loved ones and they see those tactics used on them or they see a woman hurting a man, it becomes much harder to think highly of them. There's no light at the end of the tunnel when your goal isn't to settle down with a woman of your own someday.

Now of course that's not to say that every woman is like that. Gays and women can still be close. It's just harder to find.
