2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

The average citizen gets nothing but a silver star and a casket filled with their loved one for helping.
Except is not us doing the dying. It's the Israelis and Ukrainians.

But all of it goes back to something that you might call the status quo coalition. Most of our allies are fine with America being the global hegemon because if we stop being so, we go back to a multipolar world that could get involved into far more major conflicts that we're experiencing. Is it perfect? Fuck to the no it isn't, but there really isn't an alternative aside from completely withdrawing. Sure that sounds tempting. It's an idea I hold every once in a while, but it's also unpredictable. Just because we choose to withdraw from the rest of the world doesn't mean that world isn't going to come knocking at our door like it did in 1941.

Under the radar, US approves release of $75m aid to Palestine

October 6, 2023 at 10:40 am
In a quiet move bypassing Republican obstructionism, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has approved the release of $75 million in crucial food assistance for Palestinians just hours before the funds were set to be redistributed elsewhere.

Blinken’s decision came after months of pressure from Democratic lawmakers and dozens of civil society groups, who warned that blocking the aid would create a humanitarian disaster for over one million Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

The aid had been held up by Republican Senators who are said to be seeking to use the funds as leverage for political concessions. Senator Jim Risch and Representative Michael McCaul, the top Republicans on the Senate and House of Representatives Foreign Relations Committees, have since late July been blocking the State Department from providing the funds to the UN’s Palestine refugee agency (UNRWA).

UNRWA has been a frequent target of Republicans. After he assumed office, President Joe Biden reversed ex-President Donald Trump’s efforts to squeeze off funding to the UN agency and Palestinians generally.

Risch led legislation alongside 13 other Republicans in February seeking to have the US halt all funding for UNRWA unless Secretary of State Antony Blinken certifies every 180 days “that UNRWA meets strict accountability and transparency criteria.”

UNRWA thanked Blinken for the funds that will sustain its food distribution through early 2024. “Thank you [Blinken] for providing $75 million in food assistance to Palestine refugees in Gaza! This generous support from the American people will allow UNRWA to continue this critical aspect of its humanitarian and human development work through the end of Q1 2024,” said UNRWA

If Islam stopped existing by tomorrow I wouldn't shed a tear. But Gaza is good enough. Baby steps.
More reasons for me to take a job out at an aerospace & defense job out of school if the Left get rid of our nuclear power plants for the sake of "climate change".

For the life of me, ill never understand why wasn't one of the stipulations, for living in one of these settlements, being issued a gun for every legal adult. Service is already compulsory in israel, so its not like they would be foreign to the idea of operating a weapon. These people were bound to be slaughtered.

That being said, hamas even got the jump on the military locations. They were some of the first to be attacked, so id say it was probably more to being taken by suprise than being outmatched. They just walked right in... I dont get it.
Good luck taking a city when there are people shooting at you from every window though. Thats what invading america would look like, assuming you even made it TO the beach.

First attacks against the Zionist entity from Lebanon this morning. Against a Zionist radar installation for detecting missile launches.

(probably) not Hezbollah (yet)

If you decided to take SF or NY it would look like that though...

The reason nobody bothers is, who'd fucking want them?

At first until that whole world war thing kicks off. I doubt its just going to be a war where the worst casualty is a arm in sling.
Thanks to that alliance network we keep with security guarantees and commerical ties, we can tie down the countries that are the biggest threats. The ones that started the two former World Wars are now on our side. Russia? Can't even conquer fucking Ukraine of all countries. China? Completely dependent on foreign goods and their navy can't beat Japan's (our ally). Iran? Too busy fucking around with Israel.

It's not perfect, but it works for us. Most importantly, it keeps me from having to lose my legs in a desert shithole.

As stated before "muh alliance network" is what got everyone involved in WWI and WWII, why the hell do you think this same system that gave us two world wars already is going to prevent III is beyond me.

Do you think 9/11 into Iraq happened because of shits and giggles? But I'm sure as civilians jumped from those towers their last thoughts were "at least the alliance network is keeping me safe!"
