Sorry, I don't have time to look it up right now, but he definitely claimed in the interview that it is common in French to refer to the living in the past tense, which French speakers in Null's chat immediately called out as false. He was saying this in English during the interview. so we don't need any translation, just a French speaker who knows whether or not this is a thing. He has referred to her in past tense probably a dozen times in the past week in various interviews and comments. While his accent is thick, his English is decent, and I doubt this was some "lost in translation" moment.

i was listenning to the first 10 minutes or so of the dick masterson interview and I was noticing had noticed in other interviews, that he talks about her when talking about his alibi in the present tense, and when he's talking about her in other terms, he's talking about her in past tense.

The RCMP are Canada's equivalent of the FBI, however smaller towns often farm out their policing to the RCMP. They are more like a Sheriff's office in the US. The murder rate in Canada is pretty low which means they have more free time to put in, but less experience.

Crack Whore. I wonder if Mama JF's issue isn't so much mental as it is that she wrecked her brain by being a heavy drug addict. On that other stream JF noted how much of the brandy she had drunk. Here's my proposed timeline of events based upon what we know (with a little creative license thrown in). Hollywood producers that may be lurking in the thread take note.

MamaJF is "playing with water", which probably means she was cleaning their place to the best of her ability. JF's laptop gets splashed and destroyed in the process, his 20 terrabytes of illegal whoopsie porn is forever lost. He jumps to his feet and begins to berate the potato. She tries to apologize and explain herself in Frenchtard to him but he's not having it. They start arguing until JF finally shouts "DEW YOU KNOW HOO AH EM?! YOU AHR NOT GOEENG TO TAHK TO ME LIKE ZHAT! DEW YOU UNDEHSTAHND?!"
At that point, JF picks up some object (for the sake of creative license let's say it was a stale loaf of French bread) and proceeds to bludgeon MamaJF and send her on to that big potato farm in the sky. JF then goes to Home Depot and buys plastic, drywall, plaster and paint to cover his crimes. He wraps the body in plastic, drives to a gas station next to a bridge and dumps MamaJF's body in the water. As she sinks to the bottom of the river he looks down, smirks to himself and thinks, You wanted to play with water MamaJF? Now you can play with the water, forever!
JF laughs maniacally to himself and drives off. He spends the next three days meticulously trying to clean and remove any trace of crime scene evidence. Later he takes a trip with MamaJF's cellphone so he can send himself text messages and set up his alibi. The RCMP come to speak to him as part of a missing persons investigation but they're too busy being French and gay to consider a possible homicide at that moment.
JF is out checking the mail when a short school bus drives by him. He nods his head in anticipation, knowing the next MamaJF is probably on that bus. The End.
