Dax's behavior doesn't seem all that complicated to me. He started shit with Eric because Vito had beef with him and Dax is the kind of retard who will defend his acquaintances regardless of the severity of their wrongdoings. He knew next to nothing about Eric and probably assumed that he was just an average low IQ brutha who'd go off at the slightest bit of provocation. You can see that reflected in how he chose to engage with him in that "debate," with him constantly throwing jabs at Eric to bait him into chimping out and being met with reserved annoyance. Regardless of what you think of Eric, he hit the nail right on the head in that discussion by discounting Dax's "criticism" on the grounds of it coming from a bad faith grifter who's only looking to start drama to bolster his view count.

I always knew the guy was a dick rider but popping criminal charges to impress your Edaddy is a level I thought even he'd never go to. I'm 100% sure that's why he did this, cuz Dick was talking shit about Eric and so he has to go as far as to record himself committing crimes and post it publicly.
