And people, even on this site, are wondering why there has been even an ounce of support for israel turning gaza into a parking lot... The problem is more that your making statements without trying to back them up with any reasoning that folks can follow, and when folks question you on that, your blaming them for not getting that reasoning. Things are pretty chaotic in this thread with everyone jumping in for their piece, so any multi-post line of reasoning is gonna get broken over potentially dozens of pages. Better to make whole arguments in single places than to assume the average kiwifarmer won't treat this like the usual Chris thread and just spam "next highlight" cuz there's too much to read.

When did I say warfare never happens? I was stating that it was shocking how quickly this war cropped up and how quickly it escalated to full-blown siege warfare. Again, no idea what point you're trying to make, that seeing civilians getting murdered isn't a big deal? Or that something that happened decades ago excuses it?
