Anyone who's ever worked in tech, academia, or any other "high achieving" industry has met someone who's brilliant in their field, worth millions, earned perfect grades in school, won all kinds of awards, etc., but is basically a homeless junkie in every other aspect of their lives.

It's like Mike Tyson. The guy probably couldn't spell the word "dissertation" but if you had him as a trainer, he could analyze and break down the exact strategy you would need to implore to win a fight with astonishing precision. Academic intelligence is nice but if you don't have a little streetwise and common sense to balance it out, you'll be hopelessly lost in a world that could give a shit about your PhDs.

Regardless of whether or not we can agree that JF killed her (even though most people agree on that point), we can all definitely agree that no one is ever going to hear from Elora ever again.

I’ve been rewatching the JF interviews, a major pillar of his alibi is trying to make no additional contact from Elora, ever, somehow seem like a totally normal thing. I’m not going to count encrypted emails to his proton mail account.

JF’s interviews, even if he is to be completely believed at face value, indicate that he doesn’t expect anyone to see her again. I’m not going to call the skeptics in this thread retards but some of us are simply putting two and two together.

Indeed, its an extremely strange thing for him to assume. Even if she wanted nothing to do with him personally, they do have kids together. Logically that means she would have to see and speak to him again at least once, if only to collect her kids at some point and work all of the custody stuff out. As long as she is alive it makes far more sense to assume he should have some contact from her again at some point than it does to assume he won't have any

So why is he making this claim and being pretty adamant about it? Unless he knows she is dead and is not coming back he should have absolutely no reason to conclude such a thing. So something is off. Either he knows she's dead or he knows something more than he is saying. These sorts of claims alone will make the police very suspicious of him and of the circumstances surrounding her disappearance. It may even be why they jumped onto the fact shes an actual missing person as quickly as they did. After all its been months with no attempt to even contact her children. Not something a mother does unless something is seriously wrong

Élora applied for two building permits in 2019 and 2020 at this address. One permit was for an addition to a single family home, and the other was for private storage and a greenhouse. It's almost certainly JF's home. Nice find, @Captain Confabulator!

Esso Gas Station, Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island
According to RCMP, Élora was seen on June 17 in Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island. There are only three gas stations in that town, two of which are near the Confederation Bridge. One of them, Esso, has a dirt road behind it where semi-trucks can park. It seems likely this is where she was dropped off by JF. The drive from 593 Main St to Esso is 1 hour.

According to RCMP, Élora was last seen on Albert Street in Moncton on June 19. They say she was wearing a brown faux leather jacket, black pants, and a backpack. The drive from Esso to Albert Street is 1 hour 13 minutes.

Some random person alleging they recall seeing this very generic looking woman (fat white woman with frizzy hair) on the 19th 4 months earlier is about as legit as the people who claim they saw Madeleine McCann in Brazil etc.

Never happened. Because you'd think the outfit description would confirm it but JF only gave her outfit retroactively after being told of this sighting. As he says, they described the sighting to him and THEN he was like "oh! Yes! That was what she was wearing I remember now!"

That locale is also nowhere near the "wilderness" she was apparently fleeing to with a bag full of camping gear, and would be legitimately around various security cameras etc, that looks like a major city center. It just didn't happen.

She was taken to the garage where there were cameras to form an alibi. I am guessing she was then picked up again nearby away from cameras. She was taken home and there she was murdered (because there's no other reason to replaster walls etc unless something happened in that house). He also won't let the RMCP in his house. He alleges its because of security concerns since he's an internet figure.

Her body parts were put in the fridge. I say this because its mention is weird and sounds like it might be stated as an excuse later for having totally sanitized the fridge or w.e. the hell he has done. He must have taken her phone at some stage. He will have turned it off until he was ready to take it away somewhere to send himself a final text message saying "I'm ditching my phone goodbye" at which point the phone was turned off and destroyed.

He used his special digital alibi secret (the one he carefully explained Kohberger should have used) to establish an electronic trace of life away from himself. Perhaps some sort of autoresponder or program to pick up calls to make it appear they had a phone conversation far apart.

Now Occam's Razor is he didn't take her back home. But so much of the incriminating stuff he's said relates to the house, as well as his actions regarding the house (refusing entry to the RCMP). I am not happy with this theory yet.

his big one that sticks out to me is that he says he has that rock solid alibi were he says he dropped her off in front of gas station cameras. He has had 4 months to make up an alibi, and time has passed for him to change his story. As soon as 4 months passes by, he then could state something that would be rock solid evidence but then not even exist anymore. And I'm sure he's aware of the gas station retention on records of video tapes. TOo bad they dont just do it on vhs anymore and sometimes they just reuse some extra tapes over and over again and it might be laying around because of digital; muh electronic trace. He needs to be hounded on the amount of time passed and why if he knew her parents where like they are, if they were alerted really, then why he didn't check up on her or reported her before his damn rock solid alibi disappeared.
