Shows that you stopped watching - Shit that you quit

The Expanse gets so much better about halfway through season 1. I have no idea why the pacing of adapting Leviathan Wakes was such shit. It shouldn't need a season and a half to get done.

That's what I've heard, but honestly, the pacing of the first few episodes is what ultimately kills any enthusiasm I've had to continue it. I might try watching it later on, but those first few times .. man.. it was a slog to get through.

If you can get through that initial slog, the midpoint of S1-S3 is genuinely great scifi.
None of the Amazon seasons lived up to the first three but they're solidly ok if you're into the world.

Oddly enough, I found the Asteroid Miner / Mars conflict shit a LOT more interesting than the random noir detective trying to find some rich girl plot. Like I said, I'll probably pick it up again later on down the line and give it a go again, but it's not something I'm actively seeking out atm.

If the Mars/Belt conflict is what you liked about it you'd LOVE the last half of season 2 and first half of season 3, but you're going to have to suffer through a lot of poor rich girl angst to get there.

Doctor who after they replaced the doctor with a woman. The show became a parody of what people called woke. The quality of the scripts cratered, the diversity hire was talentless and couldn't act for shit and the writing in general redefined rock botton to the point where even far left leaning critics were forced to admit how absolutely unwatchably dogshit it was.

The Mandalorian after they replaced the mandalorian with a woman. The show became a parody of what people mock star wars for. The quality of the scripts cratered and the whole thing devolved to "REMEMBER GLUB SHITO????".

I wanted to see the mandalorian and optionally baby yoda travel around the frontier doing side quests, I don't give a fuck about some random mary sue's quest to reclaim a dead lifeless rock and when the focus shifted from him to her spouting as many references as possible and bringing up legacy characters I just stopped watching.

Later on I learned that the writers forced him to give the black lightsaber to her too for some bullshit contrived reason after he was convinced to melt the cool spear he got so his entire arc of learning to use it was tossed in the shitter too.

EDIT: Oh yeah, castlevania too.

Money Heist/La Casa de Papel when they made Monica a vegan mom, shoehorned a troon and made the professor dumber.
Netflixvania after the infamous threesome scene where Alucard is anally raped by a japanese twink.

Didn't they crank the degeneracy up to 11 in that scene by not just having gay rape, but gay incest rape with a couple of twins? Never watched so I only know what people have told me about it.

Also IIRC, the faggot writer/showrunner/whatever admitted to not knowing or even caring about the lore to begin with, and never played any of the games.

Akchually they're not related, says one of the guys in charge. (I lost braincells looking at his twitter, god the cringe is too much)
Just wait until you see what they did in Nocturne, it's even shittier and that's without Ellis in staff. I confess I torrented it, hate-watched it and had the time of my life laughing at all the stupid shit they pulled :story: (Except for Juste. They did him even dirtier than Richter and co. Fuck them)

I know this one was cancelled over 10 years ago, but House MD went from the best show ever to mediocre at best some time around the mental hospital arc. That's where I lost interest.
It went downhill when they got the replacement cast and we had to deal with Obama cocksucker Kal Penn, insane woman Olivia Wilde, and the Jewish guy who used to be a lawyer on L&O.

Remember the season with House vs. the narc detective?

I checked out of The Magicians sometime around season 4. Maybe I'll pick it up someday, and for the faults that show had it was fun. But unfortunately was progressively climbing up it's own rectum.

Castle was fun schlock for the first few seasons, but got completely flanderized around the DC arc.

Dead Like Me - Dropped out in the first few episodes of the second season. The charm was just... gone.

I dropped Castlevania, Disenchantment, and that Voltron reboot all in the first seasons. All three are shit for different reasons.
Castlevania is Game of Thrones written by retarded gibbons.
Disenchantment is an unfunny comedy with unlikable characters and awful music.
Voltron reboot is faggot shit by and for fags.

EDIT: I forgot to mention all the FOX animated shows. They all went super woke and voice actors were fired for their skin color and replaced by shitty impostors.

Supernatural
Somewhere around 1/3rd through. If you didn't drop out before then, when does it really get shit? They've actually found a way to vary things up enough to keep things interesting even if it's gotten silly, but I'd imagine it becomes beyond serviceable by season 7/8.

I thought The Librarians would be fun urban fantasy right up my alley. I stopped watching after the first episode (not the first episode of the series, the first one I watched) which featured a negress screenwriter having her work stolen by a white guy back in the 1940s (RACISM IS BAD, YOU GOT THAT?), and every single male character (except for the leader) acting like dolts and being upstaged and talked down to by every female character. Fucking gay.

I used to watch a lot of long running anime, but I had to stop because I would get to episode 137 and realize the show was no closer to an ending than it was when it began. Also, 60 percent of the episodes were fucking filler. I also knew, if it ended before the manga artist was done drawing the manga it was based on, it would be thrown in the trash and be rebooted after the manga artist had published the proper ending.

The expanse gets better but goes off the rails later. I like the show but couldn't watch through it again knowing the last season, some serious behind the scenes problems clearly show themselves. They did not know where to go with things.

Ok so I actually stopped halfway through the last season.

Supernatural has like the strangest bell curve of quality. It's really good up till the end of the Apocalypse arc. Like there's good episodes here and there after, but overall just shit. Especially the Leviathan season which should have been great but just didn't lean hard enough into it.
But then it got actually good again sometime around when The Darkness showed up. Like the season before the final one was as good as the best season of the original Kripkee era. I've heard terrible things about how it all ended so I'm content never to finish the past season.

I really liked the original movies the series was based on. I actually watched the series and liked it, but I think I skipped this episode.
Yeah the autistic woman with magic was an annoying cunt and I genuinely hated her tho.
