And Need For Speed Unbound's Volume 5 update, will release this Thursday. And I thought EA already ended updates for the game, like how they cut NFS Heat's updates short, to move those devs to assist with BF2042's development, and we all know how that game turned out.

Trying the new Forza Motorsport via Cloud Gaming. I'd say, six hours to get a good first impression? I'm not a car or sim guy so take my opinion as you will. No matter.

On the Forza Motorsport reboot, you can see your driver's reflection on the windshield when you drive through light. That's damn impressive.

The 5th Solar Club Letter for the upcoming Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown came out a few days ago, and talks about the driving experience. What I wonder, is how many people care about each car having it's own physics, as it seems that it sounds like cars being different for the sake of being different, aside from the usual aspects of cars that are to be expected, i.e. FF versus FR cars.

My friend and I have hit some ~1k hours in BeamNG after less than 3 years. This game truly is the perfect autism singularity for sim racers and car enthusiasts. It's probably never gonna make it out of alpha but that's all fine by me. Already made some great memories.

With the release of the new Forza game, I noticed an interesting trend in the number of youtube videos expressing their dismay at the downward trend of the Gran Turismo series. The writing is on the wall for the franchise perhaps? Or is it view farming?

I think there's been a malaise over the series for a while now. The most recent game just cemented it. The Sony Sucks thread went wild shitting on the game when it came out, and still do occasionally make posts shitting on it.
The writing was on the wall before the hideous movie came out. It was proven with Street Fighter, then Tomb Raider and now this.

Turn 10 posted this Community Update, as damage control, in regards to FM2023's release state. And while it's not as awful as Kaz's infamous "I want players to get lots of cars without needing to grind" statement in regards to GT7, Turn 10's statement is not assuring at all, in the same way.

A GT dataminer (?) hints that GT7's next update will be the biggest ever, although given the lack of content in GT7's updates so far, expectations will still be low.
Sony is also holding a time trial contest for GT7, where the winner will win free tickets to see the GT World Series Finals in December. Given the numerous other E-Sports that have either shut down their pro scenes completely, or cut back on them, how are Sony's finances in regards to GT's E-Sports scene?
