Nearby, the Peenoise confirmed 3 dead and added one recently dead casualty today. I was gonna add more but when it was said that the PH stands with Israel, I closed the tab out of reflex.

Hamas PR move, a bunch of pallestinians are carrying a child's body through the streets and chanting and were interviewed by Al Jazeera. They react exactly like you'd expect a sandneighbor to hearing sirens.

Kind of. Hamas is an offshoot of the muslim brotherhood from Egypt and they basically run the place the same way shitlibs think Israel is run.

They jail political opponents, torture and beat those they don't like, they incorporate actual elements of sharia law into their 'government', they hold reverence for Hitler. Like I find the term islamo-fascism stupid, but they actually come pretty close. Also they kill gays and outlaw homosexuality. Theyre not as extreme as ISIS, but they literally are an offshoot of the muslim brotherhood from Egypt.

Thats also why Egypt wants nothing to do with them and blockaded the strip (even though they occupied it for decades). Theyre linked to the faction that assassinated Sadat for making peace with Israel, for example.

So while I don't really blame the people there for allowing Hamas into power, many do give them popular support- but I wouldn't exactly call it 'voting them in' as Id say, they just sort of took power, maintain it in a pretty corrupt and dubious way, and most people are fine with it, apparently.

Really though, anyone with half a brain would have left gaza the moment they could

I presume it has not been posted but: SiegedSec and AnonymousSudan (killnet but larping as anonymous from sudan), have been performing what appears to be DDoS attacks & more against networks against Israeli industrial control systems.

How are Hamas fighters still active around the small settlement areas near the Gaza border? I would think the IDF has the entire border area locked down very tightly? Do the KFC tunnels extend into Israel proper? I thought they only went into the Sinai? And you would also think the IDF would be arming up any remaining Jews that lived in the area.
