every time i hear this guy speak i am reminded of the days of bush and how the left raged on him constantly for not being an eloquent speaker. biden is by far 100 times worse than bush was at giving speeches, yet the left seems fairly silent on this. has any american president been this bad at keeping to a coherent speech?

I used to work for MOOG, and my job was building laser sights for THAAD missiles which are defensive in the same way as the iron dome missiles although THAAD is more long range (goes into upper atmosphere) and somewhat portable. This is very true about taking time to load more missiles and eventually running out and/or even the people that know how getting exhausted and then human error gets more involved.

Because I am a fence-sitter when it comes to Israel/Palestine. I don't hate the Jews or think they cause all the problems of the world, and Israel is basically the one civilized place in the Middle East that also has friendly relations with the West. But Israel also shouldn't exist in the first place because the Jews were driven from there almost 2 millennia ago, in antiquity, before Rome even fell. The allies didn't know what to do with the Jewish refugees, but they definitely did not want to integrate them into their own populations, so Britain turned their colony that was the old Hebrew stomping ground into a new Hebrew dumping ground in 1948, despite the place being populated almost exclusively by Arabs for over 1800 years.

I remember seeing news articles as a young lad about Israel-Palestine relations, Netanyahu and Arafat shaking hands despite constant fighting over such a small and worthless piece of land. This has been going on for 75 years now with no non-violent end in sight. With what Hamas has done to women, to children, this fence-sitter wants the conflict over, and fast. Even if that means driving every Palestinian into Egypt and turning the Gaza Strip into the Gaza Parking Lot, because this is sure as hell not going to end with a Hamas victory.
