Most of us noticed the coincidental updates after the last medium post.

Rev60 even ends on a cliffhanger for a second game. With a clear lack of intention to make the sequel, I wonder what Johnny Boy was expecting. The plot of the game is pretty much just the prologue of a story.

I assume this was some harebrained scheme to help sell the IP later on, but without a follow-up game, it's really fucking lackluster, even if you drank enough ammonia as a child to actually enjoy Rev60.

Wu always wanted to turn her Holliday&co. stories into a multimedia franchise.
Back in the SOCCON days, she had grand schemes that involved animations, radio dramas and even corporate partnerships- remeber that terrible script for an ad involving Holliday that she thought she could sell to McDonald's?
The plan for Rev60 was probably something along those lines: spit out the game with minimal effort (to get that indie cred), use ~industry backchannels~ to get good reviews and sales, sell the IP so another studios gets to do all the work on the next games while BriBri just rakes in the cash.

Shame she's about as good with business as she is with computers.
