Heilberg really did a shit job for Chris when you think about it

If Chris defended HIMSELF in the beginning when it was just a misdemeanor, the worst that could've happened would be him saying on the stand "I fucked Barbi-chu to heal her because I'm Sonichu Jesus!" and getting a year in jail.

Instead, Heilberg kept wasting the court's and Chris's time until the prosecution upped the charges to a felony, and even though he got out with a clean record, he still spent two years in custody.

Chris literally did twice as much time with Heilberg's council as he would have if he had represented himself
I think Heilberg thought it would be easier to get Chris into a group home or psychiatric institution.

When the jail transferred him to Western I think that was practically an emergency situation. Chris was frustrated that he was not going to be released on February 3, 2022. I imagine Chris was screaming his prayers and kicking his cell door and pissing off everyone in the jail, guards and inmates alike, and they might have been worried he'd harm or kill himself. After returning to jail Heilberg expected it wouldn't be so hard to get him into Gateway or somewhere, but he still had to pull strings with Tysinger who seems to be Virginia's head tard wrangler.

I wish he would have killed himself. It would be the one noble thing he's ever done.

Are there any aspects about Chris’s life or character that anyone thinks people A-logged too much even back during his classic era in 2009-2010? Like one aspect I find is particularly his weight which I never really got. Liek even at his worst Chris was never particularly fat at all, I have seen Americans and even other lolcows that are way way fatter and actually morbidly obese compared to Chris who even at his worst
Was just a bit plump. Yet people trolled him for years about this one particular aspect of his appearance that honestly never truly stood out for me. Like why lol?
Was Chris as fat as the morbidly obese people you've mentioned? No. Was/is he fat enough to justify the fixation? Not really. Is/was chris still very overweight? Yes.

And it was made worse by the fact that Chris has literally zero muscle. Not even definition. The dude had/has so little muscle that curling some fuckin pop cases was enough to wind him. He wasn't just fat, he was massively out if shape which made it even more noticeable.
Kinda like when you see someone who's super skinny, but not the kinda skinny where they at least have abs. The kinda skinny where it's clear they do literally nothing to have developed any sort of musculature. Aka "skinny fat".

That was/is Chris. He's fat fat. No musculature to speak of because all he did was sit on his fuckin ass playing games and occasionally drawing, while stuffing bis face with thousands of calories worth of soda. Macdonalds, and microwave dinners. Plus it clearly bothered him, and he'd pretend he was totally built and and strong, which made people fixate on it even more.

Again, like with basically everything else, it was something he brought on himself after a certain point by showing people it upset him.

This is my opinion. Heilberg, for all his "Matlocking", has only been defending drunks, drug addicts and other types of low rent folks. Long are the days when he actually defended folks with hefty charges, like the DC Sniper's tax case. Aged lawyers like him tend to take on "hard luck cases" mostly to boost their image of being sleazy lawyers, and one look at Chris, and Heilberg thought he a had slam dunk case.

Chris is trans, and by a cursory look, crazy. Heilberg believe Chris was crazy and sent him on to all kinds of forensic psychological exams to prove this. Chris getting booted to Western for being incompetent to stand trial was Heilberg thinking Chris's apathy was actually insanity. After all, who in the right mind would be so blase about the charge Chris was facing, instead ranting about how he's a god. Nope, Western booted him out in a month, which about the time for intake, exam and get the fuck out of here, you're not nuts. Western finding him a tard house was difficult because those professionals knew Chris was just apathetic about the whole thing and not at all insane or incompetent. Chris knew he had the tard card from all the other arrests and diversions so why would then be any different for him?

Chris even said Heilberg rarely talked to him, probably because every time he did, Chris would yammer on about Jesus and how he's holy and this and that, refusing to even give two shits about what was going on.

And what happened after all these exams? A grand jury was convened to bump his misdemeanor into a felony. That's what Heilberg's "expert lawyering" got Chris. Heilberg had to finally just throw down the autism deferral and leave it at that, because that's all the experts found with Chris. That shit could have been done when Chris was just looking at a misdemeanor. And like you said, if he had just plead guilty to the misdemeanor, Chris would have been out with time served and maybe even still easily put into a group home.

Lets take another approach, Chris obviously talked himself into all this. He could have said he was just bullshitting on the call, or that he had no idea what was going on, and here's Barb, whom he was taking care of. Obviously Chris's big mouth contributed a lot to what he went through.

I'll just say this now.

When a person thinks they can get away with anything, no matter how much it might hurt someone, nine times out of 10 they will continue doing it.

Even if they were a moderately decent person to begin with, they are going to still do shit, never admit that they're wrong and act like everything is peaches and roses.

Oh sure, they'll apologize. They'll admit it's "their fault". Kk? We good?

It's only when you see the raw and ragged state they are in will you see the truth.

Don't listen to their words and take their actions with a grain of salt; look at their appearance. Even eyes can lie.

I mean that's more or less what the first half of Christory was. Chris being sad and bitching about not having a girlfriend, so the internet would provide him with a fake one, he would cheat on her at the first opportunity, they would force him to apologize, then he would immediately cheat on his next fake girlfriend.

Chris has always had zero morals while claiming to be the ultimate arbiter of morality, that's what makes him so entertaining.

There's an argument that scared straight programs don't really help kids because it makes them think "Jail? Pfft! I survived a day in jail when I was 12!"

So what happens when Chris spent 2 years of the softest time in county for raping his mother and now knows the autism defense will shield him from any worse consequences every single time?

Devil's advocate for the attorney: what would you rather have, an additional year in prison or jail for a total of two years without any conviction, or one year in jail but lifetime registration and restrictions as a sex offender?
