2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

The Deir Yassin massacre happened on April 9th 1948, the consequences of that spergout led to the creation of the more moderate IDF on May 26th 1948 precisely because they disapproved of the spergout that the Irgun and Lehi had. Once the IDF was founded, they restrained the more extreme lehi and irgun fighters. The majority of Palestinian depopulation was spurred by Arabs telling palestinians to leave and come back when the jews were defeated.

I'm literally Israeli born in Israel why would I not use the word we.
Again, your point was that Israel could have, but didn't. My point was they could have and didn't. There's literally no argument here. The issue is why didn't they.

Why would I make the distinction between immigrants who came then left, as opposed to those who literally founded the state and bled for it with each subsequent generation? Think about it.

Well no shit, they got attacked on all 3 sides, out of everywhere they could've been during that day, the festival was the absolutely worst location possible that day, here's a map showing the strategic value of the festival site, you see that jew star closest to them? Thats the divisional headquarters for the IDF Gaza Division, it's the military base that Hamas absolutely felted that day, as well as a key bridge.

Reminder, the distance between Gaza and the West Bank is only 25 miles, all Hamas would've had to do was drop 4 bridges and 1 flyover to nearly split Israel in half and reduce access to the Nagev to just 2 roads.

God has spoken.

Ground operations delayed due to severe weather that would impair drones/jets being able to function.
Speaking of flooding, because I've seen people asking about Israel using gas to deal with Hamas's tunnel network: it's far more likely they'd pump seawater into the tunnels to flood them, like Egypt did in 2015.

Allegedly, this was a was a message circulated advertising the music festival: "Put the nexttttttttttt terror attack on your calendar!"

Because they didn't want to.

Why are you bringing up my own personal life? Israelis leave Israel all the time, doesn't make them any less Israeli. Considering that the majority of Israelis came from the Farhud who didn't found the state and USSR who were literally trapped in there to the point where the refusenik movement had to be created, most israelis don't have ancestry that dates back to the founding of the state.

You are arguing with someone who simultaneously holds the idea that because X people used to live in X land they need to Genocide Y who happen to live there for reasons, while also needing to oppose the current situation in Israel because the overarching thing she wants is the USA to get felted globally and as consequence Israel needs to get felted. Everything else she says is just low IQ mental spin cycle to get the square peg in the round hole.

It is time for Israel to slaughter every last Hamas Savage and put a fucking stop to this bullshit once and for all.
look man, I'm not Muslim nor am I Jewish, I'm agnostic. Besides that point, you being so gung-ho about a potential all out scaling offensive of 300,000 against a small terrorist cell likely no more than 20,000 in number is baffling to say the least, and implicates you being war-happy at best. I'm pro-Palestinian in the sense of not wanting regular civilians to die for actions they didn't commit. Are the IDF responsible for protecting themselves, yes, but the severity and scale of this response is not defense, and it likely will escalate this to an all out war. They already had intel prior of Hamas planning on attacking the festival from Egypt and they disregarded it, they unfortunately failed to defend their own citizens. However the rhetoric from Netanyahu of calling for revenge is absurdly over the line and may indicate more than we currently know. I guess being indifferent or "Both sides die, so it's a win for me" is the common belief amongst people like you, but I can only sympathize with people that didn't know about any of this and suffer as a result. Seemingly radical for some without personal investment outside of concern I guess

Lol no clue how to embed videos from Twitter, (and archive sucks ass), but please, bare witness to Canada

Guess what, fucker, Gaza is going to get the same treatment that Detroit should have gotten during BLM. I wanted tanks and blood and death all through 2020 but didn't fucking get it. Now it's the brown people's turn to pay. It's time for blood to be spilt at such a level that these savages are put DOWN.

IDF spokesman says they are entering Gaza in a few hours; NY Times says invasion delayed until weather clears up due to blocking air support according to a few IDF officials they interviewed.

Israeli forecast for next few days:
