Since nobody else seems to have the wherewithal, I'll continue with Atun-Shei's Youtube.
On a disconcertingly related note, it's crazy to see the kind of people who consider John Brown and General Sherman righteous bringers of wrath unequivocally condemn Israel's using precisely the same sort of tactics against Hamas. The absolute belief in the righteousness of a given cause seems inevitably to lead to the belief that one's opponents are therefore savages, and to impair one's ability to reason on principle.

The modern people who identify with abolitionists bring to mind a certain Tom Lehrer quote:
"One type of song that has come into increasing prominence in recent months is the Folk Song of Protest. You have to admire people who sing these songs; it takes a certain amount of courage to get up in a coffee house or a college auditorium and come out in favor of the things that everybody else in the audience is against, like peace and justice and brotherhood and so on."
Any discussion of abolition, or really of American Negro slavery online, tends to elicit the attention of
interesting people. Let's see the comments section.
