Release Bloodborne on PC with the 60fps tweak.
There you go, Sony, there's my Market Insight. Feel free to send me payment in bitcoin and/or pizza rolls.

Almost all games are overrated these days due to the obsessive culture our generations have but TLOU reaches a new level with my just based on how many people I meet in REAL FUCKING LIFE who say this game had some profound effect on them.

God help the generations that have so many daddy issues that they think this game had some profound effect on their life.
I genuinely hope these people are just making shit up for clout and group-speak, because that is actually beyond pathetic that TLOU had a profound impact on them that isn't some variant of the Western gaming industry is dead and buying new games from any Western dev isn't worth it.

Memba back in the 2010s when everyone said Nintendo should go exclusively mobile or they would go bankrupt? These guys are paid millions to come up with those "analyses".

RE: Playstation looking for a PC planning analyst

Do MS and Sony not realise that the reason PC is seeing such growth is because console players are sick of the current direction/state of consoles that they are bailing to PC?

Fix the shitty state of your consoles and make some games and PC popularity wouldn't be increasing like it is.

I've bought a PC for the first time in 20 years because for the first time in 25 years I haven't bought a console on day one or at all. XSX and PS5 are not worth the money when, for the same price, I have a 1080p/1440p 120fps ultra gaming machine (I don't play the newest releases).

I've modded the fuck out of fallout, skyrim, Long-war'd XCOM and added QOL mods to Pathfinder:Kingmaker. There's 1-2 years worth of quality gaming for the price of a console with no games. Not including the monthly sub

I'm going to be honest, I doubt Uncharted can be considered a masterpiece when even the commercials call out how little gameplay it has:

You can make this argument, and I agree with what you are saying. However, when I played it, i really felt like i was controlling indiana jones but in a more modern sense. Now, this means this to me I understand but saying little gameplay is what stops it from being a masterpiece i disagree with.

I have the real way to bring back old fans with a relatively easy to make game that respects classic Playstation while utilizing modern technology. Ready? Are you sitting down?

Remake Vib-Ribbon with the ability to play songs off your system or USB drive, maybe even streaming services if they can make that work, and have songs from other Playstation games built-in. Add leaderboards, and throw in new visual styles as paid DLC. I’ll take my game designer of the year award now.

I remember being the next guy in line in S&C ehen the person in front of me had to be talked through the PSTV not, in fact, being a tv with a Playstation in it (good product that does not exist) and instead being a non-portable Vita (bad/incredibly niche product that did exist and had a very valuable name wasted on it.)
There WAS a Playstation TV.

With that bad boy you can trip over the controller wire and not only wreck your playstation but your tv too!

This seems kind of retarded. Bandai is a fairly large company, would they buy just the games division? Financially does Sony even have the money if they went to buy Bandai? I only care because I dont want Sony getting its hands on Gundam.

That entire thread is retarded. Just because Bandai has a good relationship with Sony doesn't mean they are going to buy it.

The ps2 could do 1080i in a few games but yeah 720p might have just been what was cheapest/on the shelf.

Thats still pretty cool, almost ben heck like.
Oh, now I found some more info. It was only available in the UK at a chain called "Richer Sounds" and it cost £200 which isn't bad at all. Except it was 2010 so it was pretty bad, used PS2s were cheaper than McDonalds back then.

I'm all for shitting on Sony when they deserve it, but if this thread is just going to devolve into a bunch of PeeCee faggots whining about what games they can't play, then make a separate fucking thread.
We just want ports of the infinitesimal smattering of exclusives left so we can finally let loose and go Total PlayStation Death.

That entire thread is retarded. Just because Bandai has a good relationship with Sony doesn't mean they are going to buy it.
A little over a year ago, I looked up market caps for assorted companies, and Bandai Namco was one of the more expensive ones:

edit: This is from July 2022, and is way out of date due to the world economy continuing to fall apart
  • Sega Sammy Holdings Inc.: $4.09b
  • Square Enix: $5.70b
  • Capcom Co Ltd.: $7.65b
  • Konami Group Corporation: $8.33b
  • Gamestop Corp.: $10.29b
  • Bandai Namco Holdings Inc.: $16.96b
  • Nintendo Co. Ltd.: $58.47b
  • Sony Group Corporation: $107.82b

Bandai Namco now being $13.37b is... quite a chunk of money lost, though I guess that's the times we're living in. That being said, they're much more valuable than most of their contemporaries, and I sincerely doubt Sony would buy Bandai Namco before they'd buy Square Enix.
