It mixed what looks like carpet bombing at the beginning to building individual buildings by the end. Some of them are clearly public satellite data (like from Google maps) .. and who knows if these are from the current bombings or from previous years ago.

I hate stuff like this. I mean don't get me wrong, I think it's very likely IDF is carpet bombing and genociding the fuck out of em, but videos and reports like this make it hard to trust what's really going on. It's all just someones' propaganda.

Am I understanding the current state of the conflict correctly? If so, where does it go from here?

  • Israeli invasion of Gaza has been 'imminent' for a week now but has not occurred despite a massive military buildup and heavy bombing campaign
  • Israel/Syria and Israel/Lebanon have been flinging shit at each other with a steadily increasing intensity
  • Israel currently pussyfooting on the borders of Gaza as Western governments yell "DO IT!" while Iran and Lebanon threaten outright war if it occurs
  • General public opinion and political responses in western countries was strongly pro-Israel initially but cracks are now forming after some of bombings in Gaza

I don't think it is, really. People seem pretty damn passionate about it, and some of the feelings run really deep. If KF had been a thing after 9/11, I woudl have came across really anti arab.

At first blush, I thought there were a lot of people that had gobbled up the propaganda, but after a bit of time, I think folks just see arabs as backwards bloodthirsty subhumans. Mostly I am hoping this shit is over soon and calms back down. I do find one aspect very funny though, the leftist ran colleges seem to be unaware how quickly their pet muslims and muslim supporters will turn against them. Curious how that plays out.

Honestly, I think KF is oddly enough pretty balanced. There are obvious a lot of pro-Israel Christian types, some "open air prison types," but the vast majority come here wanting to find actual evidence/videos of what's going on, or hating the people on both sides.

It's oddly balanced .. like Reddit was before 2012. You honestly won't get all the sides you see here mixed together this way on most other websites/boards.

It's a pretty clear call to the hard leftists on who they cannot criticize. Israel is off limits. You want to do it, now you have to actually stand for something and be willing to lose a lot. That's something they really haven't had to do in years (and I'm not even going to touch the irony of Commie-LGBTQIAPEDO+ supporting a group of Muslims that would throw them off a building).

I think most KFs peeps see what's going on: large governments using a crisis to further divide their people, on all sides. People on the left/right will not reach across the isle to find new allies, but now all of them are also at war with themselves. It's whittling down people in all western nations, and it will be used as a means of control.

All the shit I talk, and all the people I get annoyed at aside, I can't imagine a better place to have the back and forths we do here. Used to be the norm really, but it's something that is dying off. Threads like this this are pretty full of shit flinging, and pretty hard to manage, but I enjoy this part more than i do most other parts.

Have you seen leftists back down on criticizing Israel? I see consequences for the super-high-profile ones like the Harvard kids who all signed that letter but there still seem to be many more backing Hamas. Blending in with the throngs of Muslims who are doing it does wonders, strength in numbers and all.
