Maybe GVH fans are like RWBY fans, just being autistically obsessed with characters that are just rip-offs of better media. At least RWBY is longer than six hours though.

Once Telltale hit it BIG with the walking dead and wolf among us, the mentality was "Game based on Brand will always sell".
I will be nice and say that they were able to keep some level of quality for a while and hell, Tales from the Borderlands was a game made during this phase and its in their top 5 best games in my opinion.
The problems began when they made a minecraft game and then GOT, guardians of the galaxy and even Batman. While those have their fans, most can agree they seemingly were just doing what was popular at the moment and that the games all played the same. And quality just kept dropping and dropping with each one of those cash cows.
It all kind of climaxed with TWD The last season where they finally added some changes to the gameplay but it was far too little too late at that point.
Telltale's death came because of the sheer short sightenedness of their CEO who had dollar signs in his eyes.
Not sad.

Leftists are usually very delusional and bored people. They tend to have a lot of free time for whatever reason and their sheer disconnect from reality plus constant comfort zone/bubbles maintained by propaganda and brainwashing leds to them having an almost schizo perspective of reality.
Like Chris Chan, they start to see enemies everywhere for the smallest of offenses and said enemies are villains while they are the heroes they grew up watching.

The funny thing is, now that we are entering the "Its okay to hate muslims again" phase, Fang and her parents not having any sort of conflict over her sexuality is even more jarring even to the alphabet people I'd imagine.

Honestly, having watching a playthrough of GVH (at least as much as I can stomach which is to say about 4 hours out of 6) and playing through Snoot Game, it honestly makes me want to make my own project. One that takes place after the asteroid fell. Hopefully then the characters in GVH can actually get fucking developed instead of static mannequins that do nothing.

Ok, I reached the L&L session, and I decided to stop playing GVH.
I've played it 3 times for 45 minutes sessions each, pausing to talk with my friend about it and it feels like 6 hours already.

I just don't know what to say about the L&L section, it's so detached from the rest that it feels wrong, like some kind of filler shit that was made to pad out the game. Yet it's clear that the devs had put serious effort on it, betweem designing characters, the different art style, constant mentions etc.
It doesn't feel right.

Just played through the "game" (no, I didn't buy it), and like many have already said in this thread I was just sort of let down. I wish it was either good or much MORE of a shitshow. It was really just rather boring a lot of the time, with pozzed conversations & characters. They never go fully off the deep end enough to be entertaining or memorable. There are poorly thought out meme references that will age horribly, but plenty of games have done that in the past.
The main takeaway for me was that the game somehow runs poorly despite being essentially a visual novel. Why does it stutter at points, dialogue lines cut off, and my PC runs hot? I should be able to run this smoothly on a Nokia brick phone.

So many things in the script are weird, and austistically bothering me.
- It's confirmed Rosa was planned to be transgender since the beginning of development, but Fang and Trish both say that they knew her back in second grade. The fact that they refer to her as "Rosa from second grade" and "paper mache girl" implies that Rosa WAS female in elementary school. Consistency where
- Fang wrote a song called "Gym Teacher Sex Dream" at age 14.... I suppose that's Kate's ghost.
- Reed and Fang have this banter about what Reed did over the summer, but the game never elaborates what he actually did? How do you make a character so boring.
- Sage bitches about how "it's hard to dress cute when it's hot as hell", when she's wearing light-colored short-sleeved shirts and shorts. That's probably one of the coolest things you can wear during the summer aside from an actual swimsuit. (Source: Easily overheated white woman)

I could see it being a holdover, or I could see it being justified as some kind of "empowerment" thing where it's calling out older guys perving on young girls, or maybe some pastiche of Stacy's Mom. I really can't remember if there's anything in there about the song other than the title (everything in GVH blends into mush), but that would probably be my defense in KO_OP's shoes.
