2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

A short spike in inflation does little. The US remained the premiere economy to this day, so where is the lasting damage? Oh there is none. The demise of some us cities was self inflicted, because they didn't remain competitive. The rest of the country did and does fine.
We are a net debtor nation and we have a service economy now; we are in no condition to weather another round of hype-inflation and mass unemployment, and that's just due to the ME imposing an embargo; if China fucks with our supply chain again we will not only be hungry but sick/dead since they make all the pharmaceuticals now.

If this was some retard reservist artillery captain doing counter fire at radar signatures, it's possible the only people who know for sure are him, his unit, and some extremely stressed IDF staff-level officers
No way in hell that was standard artillery. It was either on the very big end of what Hamas has or a standard IAF bomb.

Sorry, meant to specify rocket artillery. See this user's post:
Thank you!

That was not a JDAM. It was a Ground to Ground Rocket. Example impact.

Note the similar blast spread, and the total silence except in the moment right before impact. 1 to 1.

Bet big money this was an Israeli Army strike, which is why the Air Force and Strategic leadership were spinning their wheels, and was fired in response to the rocket that went up and made a big radar target. Probably an Israeli ground launched Predator Hawk. They knew the hospital was near the launch site so they fired what they thought was a precision weapon, but fucked up somehow.

Don't know why three quarters of it is of Israel but it's the best multi-stream currently.
Maybe expecting things to happen elsewhere?
I'd be personally more interested of a cam on the Israeli-Lebanon border or in Lebanon itself.

Short price shocks don't kill competitive industries as could be observed in Germany.

Except that it is. Many German companies that have lasted a century or more, almost a half millennia in some cases are telling the German government to solve the energy prices or they're leaving. These kind of events take years to unfold but its quite clear, Germany's day in the sun as the manufacturing hub of Europe is over, the corporations are going to places where energy and labor is cheaper. Nearly 1 in 5 companies in Germany have begun slow downs and cutting of production lines because energy costs are too high. 1 in 12 have stated outright to the DIHK that they're moving to leave the country, with emphasis on the automotive industry which about 20% are interested in abandoning their German plants.

Just to acktually this, the 1970s was galloping inflation on top of economic stagnation -- stagflation, something our friend here denies happened. Galloping inflation is defined as between 10-100% and creeping inflation is between >0%-9.999% and anything beyond 100% a year is considered hyperinflation. When you get into 100% inflation per year you're looking at national economic collapse since your currency is effectively untrustworthy so everyone starts reverting to stuff like bartering or external currency.

If the Islamic world cut production, then it'll hurt oil-dependent China far more than oil exporting America. Russia's easy bypass of sanctions shows how these things can't be targeted on a global market.

Take one IDF soldier who, by accident or ignorance, fired a missile that killed several Palestinian children.

Take one Hamas guy who entered a civilian home and shot one child to death.

Which man would you rather live next door to?
Depends on the child.
Perhaps this conflict can shift into some kino military actions against actual fucking military targets instead of civilians.
Hasn't Armenia/Azerbajan and Russia/Ukraine satisfied your warhunger?

People in this thread talking about identifying missile sounds and craters with the same confidence of redditors tracking down the boston bomber 10 years ago. I'm not saying it was Hamas or Isreal, I'm saying nobody in this thread or on twitter knows the truth and jumping to conclusions is only going to make you look retarded when more information comes out, which it will in doves. There is an insane amount of propaganda being spread now at a speed unprecedented in human history while in the midst of an AI revolution. Remain skeptical instead of steadfast no matter your biases.

Whatever ends up being the truth, things are looking grim fellas. Hang in there.

I got too into it and did some deep analysis on 3 videos of the explosions:

Judging from this, it cannot be confirmed who exactly caused the hospital explosion, but there are some things of note:

1) Explosion 1 and the hospital explosion occurred at nearly the same time, but are very far apart. The pitch black night and lack of city lights in Cam 1 makes it look like they're related, but they're not.
Explosion 1, as seen in Cam 2, is quite close to the northern border with Israel, while the hospital explosion is in the heart of Gaza City.

2) This also disproves theories that the missile in Cam 1 broke apart and fell in two or more sections causing both explosions.

3) Judging from the distances of both explosions to Cam 1 and Cam 2 respectively, it can be determined that the slew of missiles being fired from Gaza toward Israel in Cam 2 and the lone missile seen in Cam 1 are not part of the same attacking force, and are pretty much firing AT each other. It appears that the one misfiring/malfunctioning missile was launched either from Israel or very nearby Gaza's northeast border with Israel.

4) The faint flash in Cam 3 proves Explosion 1 was very far away from the hospital, and has that controversial "JDAM" sound which is unlikely to come from bits and pieces of a broken apart missile.
Shame that Cam 1 and Cam 2 don't have audio and cannot confirm if the audio of Cam 3 is authentic.

In conclusion: inconclusive. The misfiring missile may not have been at all related to the hospital explosion, but it does not seem very likely that it was fired from Gaza.

RIP carpark, you will be missed.

Lol. Lmao even.

So we have riots across the Muslim world, and embassies being attacked over some wrecked cars? Maybe a handful of dead civilians but lol nowhere near 500.

Like, all this bullshit about JDAMS, and we never really talked about how implausible that somehow, in an area with shit utilities and social services, a blast that "destroyed" a hospital had some number for the dead, and was making propaganda videos showing off said dead soon after?

That alone should have raised some red fucking flags.

An entire day of ultra-sperging over a fucking carpark. Now I double-hate sandniggers.
You have to see it from a muzzie angle. A car is one of their most revered status symbols. Maybe the first guy with a mic in front of him said something along the lines "equal to 500 kids" because a dozen cars burned out and the rest got lost in translation.

And to be fair, you need to organize that Benz in Gaza somehow. You can always pump out more little brown babies.
