So in the misadventures of Chuck Huber, he has now been getting called Anti Semitic over his thoughts of the Israel and Palestine crap. Called this June Yoon (don't expect me to tell you who that old fuck is) and now someone leaked audio recording at a random event of him talking about Vic.

He said alot of people hated him and they used the allegations to cancel him

He says that Vic has done some shameful stuff that warrant him getting the boot

He said Vic's lawyers are the scummiest people.

Calls Vic naive and stupid like a 12 year old

It wouldn't have happened for Vic. He's the wrong religion, and their hatred of him was partially driven by jealousy. They would have used any admittance of guilt on Vic's part to call him a Christian hypocrite and further smear him.
Yeah the prostrating yourself before the mob was never going to work for Vic because he has never been in with them. Sabat's crew always hated him, they've always been jealous of him, and he is genuinely more talented than most of them which means he needs to be removed from play entirely.

His niceness was always both his greatest strength and weakness.

I honestly think he tries too hard to see good in people even when it is obvious that there isn’t any to the point that he ignores blatant red flags in someone’s personality or demeanor.
He had to have viewed his friends as the closest he could get to a big family unit (it kinda sounds like the FUNi clique wanted to be a family unit, or was putting on such airs). He's Italian, after all, but did he have any actual family he got to see outside of his mom?

It kinda parallels with how Doug Walker formed TGWTG/Channel Awesome. It was to be like how The Animaniacs did with numerous segments of wacky characters each episode, but he may have wanted a family unit of sorts. Then #ChangeTheChannel happened that broke up a vast majority of his colleagues, though CTC hilariously backfired on the ladies behind it as Doug is still doing his thing, he knows who his true friends are, and his detractors have become stagnant at best, Twitter-addicted harpies at worst, and MarzGurl at the event Horizon.

Most US VAs, and especially these non-union ones, are complete hacks. I agree part of the rage directed at him is he actually took his work seriously when most of these bozos were used to phoning it in and collecting a check. The reason he developed an actual following many of them don't have is because he worked harder than they did to put in quality performances.

He's just all around a quality performer. He also has this crazy thing called 'range' that none of the VAs at Funni have ever heard of.

I wonder if WW proved this.
I am going to disagree with that. It might be true for a lot of the rank and file VAs, and specifically for most dub VAs, but don't tell me Mel Blanc wasn't a genius. Or as a more recent example, Maurice LaMarche. Or for that matter Mark Hamill as the Joker. Possibly unpopular opinion: a better performance than anything he did in any Star Wars movie.

I think part of the problem now is back in the age of Mel Blanc you had radio shows with plot lines, so a lot of classic cartoon VAs got their start there and had to be good at performing and acting. The guy who did Fred Flinstone, Alan Reed, was a huge radio star on stuff like My Friend Irma and Life with Luigi, which both got massive ratings and ran for hundreds of episodes well before he did the Flintstones. LaMarche did stand up comedy, and Kevin Conroy did theater and soap operas and stuff, so they had credibility before they even started voicing cartoons.

Alternatively, some of these anime VA chumps were just pulled off the street in Texas seemingly. The goal in this case was cost cutting. That's why it was centered in Texas in the first place because they didn't have to deal with unions and stuff, so of course they got away with hiring people that did the bare minimum a lot of the time.

I wonder if these complainers are going to be the same ones who’d bitch about celebrity VAs in projects.

Absolutely. Billy West at one point was very critical of it. Back when Wikipedia was more neutral they had an audio clip of West talking about it. At least he was articulate and spoke from a place of actually being skilled at what he does.

I can’t say the same for most dub VAs in that regard.

Here’s the best I could find in that regard.

To get back on topic, I doubt that these anime VAs have to worry (unless studio heads ask what Samuel L. Jackson is up to these days).

Did vic lowered his rates after all the madness? I could see some renpy visual novel studios with some following offering a thousand bucks for him to voice an important character.

Even if one has to degrade their value until Twitter VA level, he can't work with big studios and the union is useless in his situation. Might as well start over.

Too bad he can't ask or fund a retrial unless new evidence capable of demolishing the base of the previous decision appears. But the funimation staff is full of snakes. They will inevitably backstab and expose each other.

It would have to be an entirely new cause of action. The things he sued for were dismissed with prejudice.

And I don't think Vic is ever going to get the same slam-dunk he had for TI at KamehaCon. So fuck Ty Beard for that.

God these retards are still going on about this? So funny they'll assume the worst happened due to Stans "no memory" but that means they can say Vic did X and Y and Z.

They really have nothing better to do with their time.
They don't know logic.

Monica: Stan Dahlin witnessed this thing.

Stan: I do not remember witnessing what Monica said I witnessed.

Only people like twittards cannot see the logical conclusion when both those statements are read together.

If he was smart at all he probably doesn't really HAVE to keep working on animeslop to pay the bills, at least for a while. He was a very prolific and profitable VA, should have quite the best egg. Shit he wouldn't even need to do RenPY visual novels, open up cameos for a week and he'd make bank.

Tom Kenny (SpongeBob and other work) also did sketch comedy (Mr. Show) and other acting. Jill Talley, his wife who was also on SpongeBob, was also on Mr. Show with him.

Seeing how much a cuckatrian & fraud nick has become. Let's ponder on this question, if Vic avoided being a matryr of the antisjw movement and chose competent council, would he won or at least got a settlement, or he never had a case to begin with?

I believe it was said he went to law firms and they said he had a case, but apparently there was something that wasn’t to Vic’s liking. But he was ready to go to court before Nick and Ty came along.

As for what would happen, I don’t know. I think it’d go to trial because Monica and Jamie seemed like the type of people that’d refuse to compromise, even with Vic’s simple requests. There was a mediation that went nowhere.

Vic was definitely looking into suing before Nick and Ty came along.

According to Lisa Hansell two lawyers that Vic talked to believed he he had a viable case, but one said Vic couldn't afford it (which is where Nick's fundraising would have helped), and the other lawyer told Vic they could get started on the case in several weeks, which was painfully long when Vic's career was burning at Twitter speed.

Whether he won or not, we'll never know since juries are fickle. And who knows, maybe discovery would have unearthed the fact Vic was indeed a ninja turbo rapist.

But if he had had competent counsel, we would for sure be at trial with MoRon at a bare minimum. People underestimate how devastating Slatosch's affidavit was.
