I don't know why Nick has decided that he doesn't like us. We're so nice, so this makes me really sad. I'll share some of the things that I like about him in the hopes that he comes back around.
Even though it's really weird, it's nice how he's so in touch with his feelings that he's having midnight text sessions in the shower. It's like he's back in his gay cheerleader days, and he's just checking in with the boys to make sure they don't have the wrong idea about him. I totally believe that he wasn't impotently negging Josh to get him to act without asking because a trained lawyer would surely be better at that kind of manipulation, even if they weren't practicing.
Speaking of non-practice, it's really cool how he's keeping in touch with his local legal community through his lawsuit. It must be nice to be working(?) with them again, but it's odd that some of them seem to really fucking hate him (for some reason). Opposing counsel already didn't seem to like him even before Nick insulted his disabled child (for some reason). What rotten luck that his case is also being heard by the judge that he told off after utterly bombing a sentencing hearing as well (for some reason). He even called the partner of his own counsel a slur before shelling out $100,000 to them (for some reason). I can't see why they decided they didn't like him first, because he deeply understands social cues and how to interact with people.
Although some might call it hypocritical and deranged, I totally get his evolved free speech position. Repeated public accusations of pedophilia without evidence are fine, but someone asking how his melanated leprechaun friends are doing warrants excommunication and private wishes of death. Talking about him negatively is causing harm to his business, but someone loitering around and defacing a warehouse after being told to leave by the police is just a great big joke. As is gravedancing on the dead. As are posts about how his friend is coming for children. Ha ha ha! A reasonable position is understanding that, although you can say these things, doing it or supporting it causes people to find you repugnant. It seems that Nick's stance is that any revolting speech or activity must be a joke because it's too disgusting not to be, and any haters are prudes who just don't get it. So avant-garde! The dead and children not beyond decency? This would be the perfect setup to make a joke about Nick's miscarriages, but to do so would be a poor reflection of the teller. My brain isn't pickling in a slurry of drugs and alcohol that would make this seem like a good idea, but surely he'd think it's a gutbuster because his comedic appreciation is so exceptional.
Anyway, even though his terminal brainrot has caused him to hate us, I still love you buddy, and wish that you're super duper successful and make another million dollars, or whatever.
