One of the things I've always hated most about Nick is that he basically does nothing but sit in front of a camera and get drunk for four hours every night, especially lately, and he still can't even manage to do that five days a week. It would be understandable if he put any work whatsoever into his shows, but he doesn't.
I’ve been thinking about this. If that old stream is to be believed, Drexel beat Nick up when they were kids. If Nick was getting beat up by black kids, that would imply he wasn’t part of their clique, and wasn’t hood, or at least didn’t have enough street cred to not get his ass whooped. But the specifics of their friendship has always confused me
If I remember right, it never showed up because the company he ordered from was having supply issues for a long time. The order may have been cancelled or something like that in the end.

That’s what’s so frustrating, it doesn’t even have to be 5 nights a week. Even just 2-3 days a week on a regular fucking schedule, Nick! would be plenty enough to keep and even grow his channel. How hard would a Monday, thursday and Saturday schedule (for example) be? It would be better to have fewer regular days than constantly cancelling every other show.
I remember first tuning into Lawsplaining and it was just a real interesting & informative show. This was back during the Maddox Lolsuit. Nick would just moderately drink his whiskey but really stay focused on the legal document. He'd point out bad punctuation & formatting and it basically was a fun guide in recognizing if a lawyer/paralegal was a total hack. It was closer to Louis Rossman's content than an internet shockjock.
I think he was stupidly drunk. I suspect Nick used to hide his levels of intoxication fairly well via adderall. The thing about abusing stimulants is that with time your body gets used to it. And no doubt not getting enough sleep has had its effects.
He was on the rocks as his content got worse and worse but people were slogging through it until he started attacking them and insulting them, and then inserting himself into shit he shouldn't have.
