Right, and IIRC, Nick covered that. He knows Kyle/FPSRussia. I think that supports my conclusion. He would have been put on notice that mailing the shit makes is easily subject to interception by the authorities.

That seems like one of those "your luck will run out eventually" sort of things. They're dumb, but I don't know if they're THAT dumb.

Besides didn't we just resolve last week or so that he's likely getting his shit from his trips to the cities?

Dax seems more the LA type with a little bit of money who builds social connections by selectively giving away drugs to people. He doesn't get them hooked. But he can hook them up at a party if he is invited or they know they can take a hit if they visit his place. Or they get something for showing up to do a stream. Free drugs is the one of the few ways that you could induce a not ugly girl to sit next to Vito on a stream.

Looking at the analytics websites, it appears he peaked at 470k subscribers in November 2022, but managed to reverse the subscriber decline and gain tons of views with the Murdaugh trial at the start of 2023, despite the fact that he clearly hated it and ended up basically ragequitting with a rant about how he'd rather drive to the city and get a "happy ending" massage instead. Since then, there has been a steady decline since March.

From March until late September the day prior to Eric July coming on Nick's show, he went from 477k subscribers to 466k. That's an average decline of approximately 53 per day or 1.6k per month noting that these calculations will be off slightly because YT only reports in 1k increments.

Looking at his subscribers, the pace of the decline has accelerated dramatically. He's dropped 3k in less than a month, it works out to 130 per day or 3.9k per month since the start of this drama.

In other words the subscriber decline in terms of number of subs lost has increased by more than double, just under 2.5x in fact, what it was in the 6 months before the Eric July drama started. And that decline was already relatively steep.

Not the worst theory. I feel like every associate of his (outside of Sean) got addicted to something one way or another. Heck, before he cut off Asterios, people used to refer to him as "Asterios Coke in Nose."

Well, it did for a good while, yes. But as I pointed out in my post, that increase in loss appears to have subsided at least somewhat. Indeed, the algorithm predicted based on the numbers available to it last week that he would have hit 463K earlier this week, and yet he only hit that today (Friday) because the loss rate arrested somewhat since then.

My take away from this is the July shit didn't go over well at all, and hurt him, but the spike in loss rate is now beginning to subside. The 7 hour drunk stream happened three weeks ago now, so that doesn't really surprise me all that much.

Mind you, he's still losing subs, I think it could easily spike again if he dives headfirst back into the July idiocy. He could either take what happened as a teachable moment, or keep fighting Daddy Dick's battles and alienating people at a much faster rate.
