There’s also something to be said for how the typical nerd hobbies of video games, role playing and so on all encourage disassociation - they literally invite you to “become” someone else for a while. It’s fine and healthy for a well-adjusted individual to step into someone else’s perspective for a while. But someone without any empathy, or internal sense of self, such hobbies only further divorce them from reality.

That's such a deep rabbit hole I'll try to avoid, but it's a lot simpler even. If you invite around a youngish FTM you can bully them about it, ignore 90% of it and just do your activity. We needed somebody else to play a game at my house last week & one of my friends invited some FTM chick he knows, we gave her shit the entire fucking time about it but she kicked ass & hung. Hope she cried about it after, but god forbid if I did that to a troon, I'd end up with a broken neck. It's just a lot easier to be normal with FTM chicks and ultimately they aren't going to take any men's space they aren't welcomed into just by virtue of being physically weaker women, so they aren't in any position of power anyways. They're more or less just mentally ill people latching onto something trendy for a year, totally different beast from troons.
