Another wunderwaffe that turned out to not be very good, no doubt. The Rus are having issues acquiring the microchips they need to build more I'm sure.

There were never more than a handful of them deployed with the Russian Army in Ukraine. Maybe at most ten of them. There was one combat confirmed loss in February 2023. Its a nice piece of equipment, but better suited toward fighting an urban insurgency than a regular war like in Ukraine.

Its a weapon system designed specifically to fight in dense urban environment, designed after chechen wars. They were not deployed in high numbers because there isnt a lot of urban combat.

They went about that entirely the wrong way. They didn't need to poison anything. If they wanted to kill them all via food all they had to do was hire lucas werner as the caterer. a few of his undercooked cross contaminated chicken dishes, toasterbortions and maybe a few plates of cheesy cuke appetizers and they'd be dead faster than the poison and without all the fallout of poisoning people and the ability to claim plausible deniability and blame the idiot cooking the food.

As an added bonus he'd get thrown in the gulag over it, be off the streets and without being paid for by tax payers. Its win-win

That said, given that there has apparently been snow in moscow i'd say the fighting is going to grind to a stalemate until spring in the very near future. Yet another year of ukraine achieving nothing while talking big. The better hope the shit going on in israel doesn't fuck up their funding or the spring offensive isn't going to be a fun time for them

Personally I'd like to hope it's just incompetency and corruption that makes them not bother with it but factoring in fact that Ukraine is European capital of human trafficking it makes one draw unpleasant conclusions why they haven't been doing any census for over 2 decades.
But in either case result is modern day press gangs chasing any able bodied man they see on streets.

Whenever I see something like this, I wonder, why are these people keep fighting?

The simplistic answer is, to protect their nation from invaders. This would be understandable, but is this really how the average Ukrainian, who was gang-pressed and sent to the meat grinder, sees this situation? Especially now, that some of them are figuring out there is Jewish trickery afoot. Doesn't help that they are trying to "liberate" parts of their nation, which never really wanted to belong to Ukraine anyway.
Even the zealots, who believe the cause, or just want to kill as many Russians as possible, should question the actions of their leaders at this point.

I just don't understand why we aren't seeing mass mutinies and surrenders.

Its hard for anyone to admit they were wrong, especially when its cost so many friends and maybe family members to prove you were right. Also its hard to mutiny man. Everything is mined there are drones everywhere what can u do?

Maybe because hohols and/or their advisors mistook propaganda in a film that inaccurately portrayed the USSR using заградотряды and decided to copy the blocking detachments depicted IRL? I, and others have posted videos of surrenders, sometimes entire units with commanders, and there's video proof of men trying to leave the Ukraine to avoid conscription and getting caught; some clearly do succeed. Just because we don't see it all the time doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Today's content:
- One reposted video from Israel about how Hamas must be defeated and how we need to see more atrocity pictures in the media.
- One empty statement about how total victory is the only option
- One reposted three-minute video from the Ukrainian General Staff about how artists are on the battlefield. It seemed like a recruiting video for non-traditional sorts of soldiers like teachers, doctors, musicians, artists and so on. One particular part of the message was that you are not just defending Ukraine, but defending all of Europe. It ended with the fatalistic "there can be no other way".
