Geno lives in Japan, and he's really not a social media person so it'll be hard to stalk him. I only know he's in Japan since he went on a podcast from some anime youtubers that only did guests already in Japan for a while

So here's an interesting thought that I had today:

If Chris's Etsy store is making a shit ton of money, and its' "Chris's store", with his fugly mug the first thing you see, Etsy provides tax information to the IRS regarding sales. It doesn't matter if Praetor is "running things", if their paperwork says it's Chris's, then it's his.

I don't think Praetor is filing correct tax information, especially if Chris does the usual "you deal with this shit, give me money", for Chris in order to pay correct taxes on, merely "managing" the profits that is going on...

And since there's a definite limit on what Chris can work/earn for his SSDI, I have a feeling Praetor is doing a pump and dump, exploiting Chris, and when the hammer falls from the Fedgov regarding exactly how much money "Chris" is making, I have a feeling there's going to be some rocky seas in tugboat land.

It sure seems like there could be some issues regarding Chris's "income" and his SSDI cap at the very least.

Lets say Chris gives them access to his Etsy store, with just his login information. Etsy sees that as Chris accessing it, selling stuff, etc... They send the required information off to the IRS. Now maybe Chris demanded they use one of his bank accounts to store the money in, to prove they're not stealing from him. All the financial information could show Chris is actually running things, which we know is something he hates doing and might only care that they wire transfer money to another one of his accounts. All the government is going to see is "Chris" involved with it all.

Two things could happen: First, if that's all tied to him, then the six figures "he" made will basically be seen as income. That could definitely shut his tugboat off.

The second thing is more complicated and I guarantee Chris has no clue how it works, but Chris could be on the hook for taxes on that six figure "income", especially if the money all is through an account that he technically owns. Then there would be "strange" money wires going to various people, including himself, which might trigger some sort of fraud investigation. I think the real money coming into the Etsy account happened in tax year 2023, which is still going on so nothing really has happened except for paperwork piling up, waiting for April 2024.

I wonder if Chris knows who these Praetor people really are, or where they live. Who ever he was talking to in jail might have used a drop box or something to contact him.
