found this in the what are you listening to thread and never got into southern rock really but goddamn if they aren't crushing it.
also i found my girlfriend's bong with the fritted disc in my bathroom this morning and it's amazing when it's clean but it clogs like a motherfucker, idk why anybody bothers unless it shows up in their house and they decide why not I guess.

I've had some whiskey, and I'm feeling pretty good. (I'm trying to cut down and sticking to one week, because of all the meds I'm on). So I'll just go with root beer now that I'm nice and buzzed. (I like to drink root beer from a wine glass. Cuz I'm all classy and shit)

Are Xanax any good. I've had Loprazolam before and they were quite nice. Xanax (Alprazolam) are pretty rare (AFAIK) here in the UK but I've been offered them at £2.50 or 5 for £10. The girl says they are worth £5 so she's doing a favour selling them at £2.50 each. I used to enjoy Valium but now on the streets in the UK I will not touch them because there are a silly amount of fakes going about and a local news story I read recently said that 3 people died from ODs of the fake Valium that were actually Etizolam. I've had a couple in the past but they just knocked me out for a day.
The fake Valium are sold as Blues (10mg) but nowadays doctors here rarely prescribe Valium tablets other than Yellows (5mg). Back in the day a Blue would cost £1 a pop and a Yellow was 50p, so when you have people offering you bags of Blues of 25 for £10 is does set off alarm bells.
A few months back at was at a guy's house who I've bought various drugs from over the years and he had managed to get his hands on (what he says is) a factory box of yellow (5mg) Valium. I've never seen so many Valium. The big brown box contained several boxes of 28 x 5mg tablets and they did look the part. The boxes looked legit and even had the Braille dots on them. I suppose that with the serious amounts of cash involved in the pill trade the people that make the fakes will invest the the right equipment to do it.
Currently my Benzo needs are taken care of by my Dad's Clonazepam. He gets a box of 120 x 0.5mg a month but only needs 2 a day and that's what the doctor's orders are. I've no Idea why he gets so many extra but I'm certainly not complaining.
TL;DR. Are Xanax any good and are the worth 5 for a tenner at UK prices?

Xanax is nice but I wouldn't pay that much for it unless your idea of a good time is getting drowsy and going to bed early. If you pair with more than a drink or two say goodbye to your ability to form long term memories for the night without getting any less noticeably functional or more fucked up to the people around you, which is a very weird feeling the next morning.
The one thing I will say for Xanax is that it's a miracle drug to have on hand when you're having a bad trip. It kicks in extremely quickly.

If you already have clonazepam, I'd just stick with that. Xanax can be a lot of fun, don't get me wrong. I find it has more potential to turn any occasion into a messy evening than most other benzos. If they're legit (as opposed to pressed deep web ones) then it's easier to take a reasonable dose. Some bars are just made in a big batch for the deep web. Different pills in the batch will have different amounts in them, and there isn't really a way to tell which ones are more potent until you take them. I have a friend who will take 1 or 2, black out, and then take a bunch more while blacked out. That shit is why people skip days and all of that fucked shit.
TL;DR: If they're TRUE and HONEST xanax, seems like an ok deal. If they're deep web ones, they could be an even better deal, but who knows how long it's going to take to get functional again.

When I used to take Acid I'd like to take it with a couple of Valium or Temazepam capsules. That would take the edge right of and you'd still get a good giggle.
TBH, I've no idea where she got the Xanax from and I've never known anyone to get them on script here in the UK. In my home town now those shitty fake blue Valium are everywhere. Heard that they are cut with Etizolam. Having read up on Etizolam it sounds about right. The couple I've had in the past just knocked me out for a day with no nice buzz off them and that seems to be what Etizolam is all about. Too many anything for a buzz types about now because I used to pay a £1 for a blue Valium (10mg) so the people selling bags of blues for a tenner for 25 are selling God knows what. Something that bugs me is that a lot of the people buying the fake blues have been about long enough to know that a real blue Valium is worth a lot more than 40 pence each. I'd happily pay £1 a pop for a proper blue Valium.

I've found Xanax to be more of an semi-eject button because it will reduce the psychedelic effects as well, not just mellow. Obviously the degree depends on dosage. I pretty much won't trip with anybody if I don't have it on hand because I seem to have had a string of bad luck with people not being able to Handle Their Shit, but they hand out scripts like candy here in the US if you have good medical insurance so that isn't an issue for me.
