It's like Nick suddenly doesn't get people from that part of the world while simultaneously gracing us with bullshit stories of growing up on the mean streets of Texas. They tend to take disrespectful shit like this serious. People can argue July is thin-skinned, but his response to this doesn't seem out of alignment with other people from that region would feel.
I dunno if he's doing anything in an official capacity with Dick and those chucklefucks, but I kinda hope he is, because Nick is a fuckup and I'm sure it'll end in disaster.

IMO, he's not worthy of being called a shock jock anymore. He's just a drunk faggot circling the drain. Shock jocks are usually funny. Which Nick still is... I guess... but now it's unintentional instead of intentional.
I think "Internet shock jock" (in quotes) is still relevant. Before, it mocked the idea that Rekieta was an "Internet shock jock". Now it mocks the fact that he thinks he is a shock jock but is actually only making a fool of himself.
Looking back at the filings for the Monty case, Rekieta's side quotes him from his show as literally comparing himself to a shock jock, saying that his content is "frankly, late night shock radio, to much extent, like Howard Stern before he became a coward." According to the filing it's apparently 25 minutes into his October 28, 2022 stream if anyone cares to bother to look it up.

Circa 2019, Nick was still doing a few nickle and dime cases, and Lemoine could have determined that if he bothered to (plenty of people here, including myself, did) so Lemoine kinda jumped the gun there and looked like a bit of a jackass.
Common accusations against Nick back then were that he either wasn't a lawyer, or he has no history of representing anybody. Both are untrue.
As late as 2022, people were repeating that canard. Like this idiot on Reddit after Nick got banned from Youtube:

I think the reason Nick flipped out so hard on July is that he's gotten so much shit like this in the past, but the difference now is that when July said it, the situation had changed to where it was actually true. Although this is on the Future Conflict YT channel, this is the "Writer's Fix Problems" show, which Blaine Pardoe runs, not Watcher or Scott (the guys who run the main show). I don't think Pardoe was ever particularly aware of Rekieta, and has mainly come to the Comicsgate world through his own cancelling from the Battletech IP much more recently. Scott (an OG comicsgager) did enthusiastically promote the interview on social media, and appears to be taking the July side of the Comicsgate civil war, which makes sense given the group's boomercon "based black man" fetish.
Not sure if they've wised up on Rekieta yet, though. I still watch the main show occasionally, and while there's an occasional Balldo joke, I haven't heard any reference of Nick, positive or negative, in months. I think they're still on good terms with Andrew/Legal Mindset, but their main law panelist for the last 6 months has been (the Farm's own) Sean/Potentially Criminal.
Kevin Brennan sucks and I wouldn't take his opinion on anyone's comedy seriously.
Mayer is certainly unfunny hack who trades entirely off her friendship with marginally more successful C-list comedians and less successful D-list porn stars. However, Brennan is not exactly an innocent paragon of comedy when it comes to all the channel striking faggotry. He's a notorious flagger. Like, Shakespearean King Lear/Macbeth shit. There's a sadness, regret, but still that shit ego and still trying to somehow play kingmaker.
I'd feel sad, but he's done this to himself.
