Some youtuber called "FightinCowboy", who the devs have already done a live Q&A with and are doing another this Sunday, has directly shared many of the public grievances with the devs.
Which reminded me of something once I read it...
A radiance spell which summons two little Pieta clones, previously cost 95 mana and had pretty good tracking/annoyance in PVP, so they decide to nerf it to cost 425 mana, which means if you have the base radiance needed to cast it, you can't cast it, because it costs more mana than you have, and it's ridiculous cost has made it entirely useless.
They did the same thing to an inferno spell that summons three dogs to breathe fire for a bit, they have poor tracking and sometimes the third dog doesn't get summoned.
The biggest issue with PVP is still that it's a host based connection, and there is still a bug that causes the host to not be able to do more than double digit damage to invaders (host hit them for 20, they hit host for 500), but fret not the host can no longer quit to main menu while you invade! Instead they will just alt+f4 and remember to turn off the online.
Also they changed the secondary effect of the Pale Butcher umbral eye, now it causes you to do 25% more damage to the enemy's spirit when you use the lamp on them, let's see how that's working.
Oops... That's a +2 weapon in a late game area as well.
They also named the patch in the DB as "zeroqa" which makes sense when you have zero quality assurance.
