The reason this decision is getting so much hate is because it's been posted somewhere retards like you actually read. If any of the people bitching in this thread had bothered to scroll down the front page of the fucking website, you'd know this is not the first time Null has removed content at the request of an outside party without the threat of legal repercussions. Null's policy on taking down content is not absolute. It's not censorship, it's called choosing your battles wisely and not obstinately defying everything anyone tells you ever like a belligerant rage-hog.What does this have to do with the fat kid video?
I can give you some examples off the top of my head. Here, he receives a request from the Russian Roskomnadzor to remove a single image "prohibited from distribution in the Russian Federation." It's a lolicon image. Null obliged despite having no legal obligation to do so because 1. it was off-topic 2. it contributed nothing of value to the discussion and 3. removing it lessens the scrutiny the site is under by yet another large government entity at no real cost to the site itself. The image was removed because there was absolutely zero value in keeping a random piece of lolicon art in this thread or on this site when it gets the Russianiggers to fuck off by taking it down. There was nothing lost in the removal of this image.
This isn't only something he did because it was a scary official Russia e-mail domain demanding it, either. Here, somewhat well-known Sonic/Chris-Chan YouTube lolcow Dillin Thomas asks for the source files of his recently-released, heavily autistic visual novel game Forest Folk to be taken down. This is a paid game, and since Dillin mentions in his e-mail that he's fine with discussion of the game itself on the forum, and writes the letter politely without screeching demands and threatening lawsuits, Null obliges and removes the files. The game itself is still talked about by users and there are screenshots galore of the game still up in his thread without issue (i would know, i doxed someone because of it) so the only reason to take the game's files off of the site is to avoid unnecessary trouble. Simply put, there's no reason to risk potential lawsuits or increased censorship measures over something so trivial. It's just not worth the effort. It's different when irrelevant New Zealand/Slovakian bureaucrats come wagging their finger in Null's inbox because these are power-hungry tyrants trying to get content that is both legal and of potential historical value taken down for no reason other than a tightened control over online discourse.
You can complain that Null makes these decisions at his own discretion all you'd like, but at the end of the day it's his site. He already goes through enough shit trying to host retarded bandwidth-wasting niggerscreeching like your posts in this thread, he doesn't need more on his plate over Anisa's nudes and a video of a fat kid watching a shock video, both of which being material that nobody would be talking about right now if not for the Cogent faggotry. The least we can ask of him is that he's transparent with what he removes; and given that you're here reading about what he's "censoring", I'd say he's done a good job of both that and acting on the feedback he gets from his transparency... even if some of the userbase is literally too retarded to look at the subforum dedicated to the topic. Don't like it? Go spend tens of thousands of dollars and years of time setting up your own forum where you can choose to defend every last disposable reaction video and whore nude that you want.
TL;DR some things aren't worth the trouble and potential risk to keep up, nigger.
