It's at the bottom of the target range (88-92) for someone with COPD. I'd be very interested to see what lung function tests would show. She says she has asthma but she doesn't seem to follow any asthma care plans and asthma is something a lot of people incorrectly self-diagnose.

88 was her resting heart rate which she didn’t know whether good or not ….Answer…NOT it’s way too high. Her oxygen saturation was 97 IIRC. That’s perfectly acceptable, and surprising given her health status, although she hasn’t been smoking shisha lately as it was too expensive in Thailand.

You need to be careful with those meters because they can trick you into reading them upside down or wrong way around. Then again, maybe it was her reading them upside down (not going back to find it). The reading I really want to see is her current hbA1C, (it’s probably at least two years since she’s had one done), but I’d settle for a blood pressure reading after she’s spent 10 minutes grabbing bread and chocolate bars at the co-op!
