/r/outoftheloop has noticed something odd about the subreddit /r/therewasanattempt.

Every post from the last 24 hours has that flair.

I always thought that sub was primarily for memes but it seems that has changed now that every post is required to have that flair. Prior to the recent mainstream attention of the Israel/Hamas war, no posts on that sub had that flair. A mod of the sub recently announced new rules, including it being a bannable offense to speak against Palestine

Are large subreddits like this allowed to force users to promote certain political beliefs such as "From the River to the Sea"?

Reportedly the powertripping janny, in true reddit fashion, is removing anyone even asking questions about this new rule

Answer: The mods here have deleted posts with basically the same exact question. This will likely get taken down shortly.

The answer is that the mod over there is pro Palestinian and they are abusing their power to promote Palestine and ban anyone who shows any sort of support for Israel. It is as simple as that.

Every post on /r/therewasanattempt currently has this subtle flair.

Only on Reddit would you be told you're in the wrong for not understanding a class cause your instructor can't speak clear English. The response doesn't even address the issue, how will going to office hours or asking questions help if you can't understand the guy when he speaks? I can't believe anyone actually asks these retards for advice.

Having professors who cannot speak clear English is a problem. I had one that was from Taiwan and was awful and I could barely understand him. I also had a guy from the US that just mumbled and could not be understood unless you were in the front row. Universities really need to make sure their lecturers are able to enunciate in clear English.
