So since I've heard absolutely zero people talking about it, and because I know Sam Lake is getting up his own ass like Kojima and I know they removed a white woman to replace her with a black woman, I assume it's trash.

I haven't seen any gameplay, any bosses, any actual content. All I have seen of the game is the screenshot of Saga saying she is sick of old white men controlling her life and the nigger couple saying Bright Falls is heccin racist like Alabama (then move to a not racist shit hole that loves niggers and see how much better it is)

There's teasing of Max Payne and apparently Alan Wake is now part of the 'Remedyverse'. Major complaints seem to be that the game is boring as fuck, plays like RE remakes but worse, and it's mostly a walking simulator.

A very underwhelming release. October promised us the release of the new Sonic game, new Mario game, new Spider-man game, and Alan Wake 2. The only game to come out on top was Mario.
Here's to hoping the Winter releases will save this horrid year.

I've seen people sperging over the game at the Alan Wake discussion board over on Steam. Since it is an EGS exclusive they have nowhere to go but the original Alan Wake steam page or reddit. I know that Epic funded the entire game, but it was a big mistake to make it an EGS exclusive and to have no physical release. I will probably pirate it to play through it this weekend.

Alen barely plays a role in his own game. you can cut him out and almost nothing of the game would change.

I pirated the game and played it through the first 10 mins. they are using cheap jumpscares with sound fuckery and a boring ass story about a cult.

There is a lot more racial talk than I expected a Steam board to have. Probably because no one gives a shit about moderating this forum.

Maybe grow a thicker skin? White people in general don't get offended by this, black people have benn saying stuff like that for over a hundred years, it lost all its "power" and "meaning" to now be a big nothing burger. White people don't say stuff like that because they naturally want to be sensitive towards the more thinned skinned people who are easily offended which there are enough of them with in that community to still be frequent enough to be around.

Why do people think that persistent motion blur and heavy heavy heavy DOF are a good idea?

Not only does it absolutely tank fps but it looks fucking stupid too. If your goal is hyperealism which it seems is this game's intended artstyle then those effects shouldn't be 10x stronger than they are in real life.

I hate Epic Game Exclusive garbage but I will say if you are going to get one, The Lords Of The Rings: Return to Moria is actually a really fun survival game especially if you like dwarves and some lord of the rings shit……… Don’t bother with Alan Woke 2 it’s boring trash. Say what you want but the first one may have been forgotten quickly but it was still really enjoyable and had interesting world building.
