There are a few preservatives but calcium propionate is one. Sorbic acid is another.American bread just can not get mouldy. I don't even want to think about what kind of chemicals they use to make bread 100% mould resistant. Is it even bread at that point?
Joshsisters... how do we respond to this?DURRRR, I'm Josh! I only eat the best foods there are. Oh my, I see you are getting low. May I refill your hot sauce?

Man I do wish that Nando's was more widespread in the states, but at least we have stuff like Nashville hot chicken that makes up for it.
WhyPortland,
I like the garlic sauce but its so expensive.Man I do wish that Nando's was more widespread in the states, but at least we have stuff like Nashville hot chicken that makes up for it.
According to the FDA website, the FDA was founded after years of lack of regulation, in such industries like meat packing. You can get good local food in the USA. But yeah the government overreach is fuckin stupid and literally has done nothing to improve quality. But rather, has done the exact opposite.
Yeah, over regulation is definitely a thing as well, but I personally like some oversight to make sure people aren’t cutting corners and adding fake dyes/fillers to meat to make it look “fresh.” That’s what you had to deal with if you were poor and meat was hard to come by. These types of sellers would use things like dyes to pass off the meat as “fresh.”The original Food and Drugs Act is passed by Congress on June 30 and signed by President Theodore Roosevelt. It prohibits interstate commerce in misbranded and adulterated foods, drinks and drugs.
The Meat Inspection Act is passed the same day.
Shocking disclosures of insanitary conditions in meat-packing plants, the use of poisonous preservatives and dyes in foods, and cure-all claims for worthless and dangerous patent medicines were the major problems leading to the enactment of these laws.
I spent time in a lot of the places he's been. His understanding of goyslop is decent.Josh has grocery shopped. But only when he lived in bug-hives like Portland so his idea of the lifestyle in your typical small or medium sized American town is hilariously skewed, probably informed by bullshit being fed to him by whoever it is he talks to who live stateside feeding him nonesense as a joke.
I just now caught this and demand this to be taken back. My shithole area has a fuck ton of Muenster. It's my favorite cheese. Goes perfectly with summer sausage. Nom.If they're really fancy, they will have Meunster.
I have a novel idea: How about you get a job, so as to generate legal tender you can exchange for such a service?it's a couple hundred to get across the country, more expensive than flying. I've looked into it to visit relatives and can afford neither.
Poor people exist.
