can you even touch grass in florida without sinking into the swamp?
Yes, but Florida grass is very hard and not as nice to walk on barefoot as grass in other parts of the country.

Typical Florida grass:

That’s not a macro shot, the grass blades are very large.

how has this thread amassed 69 pages? the basic argument here is without dispute so I seriously hope this is all ballwashing. The American food system is fundamentally broken, designed to torture GMO grains in all different directions to create an illusion of abundance and variety. Our supermarkets don't make money on produce or meat, those are used as loss leaders. They make money on the abundance of shelf stable grain formulations which cost nothing to produce and are designed by teams including chemists and behavioral psychologists to be addictive while having less than zero nutritional value.

I could understand allowing yourself to be psyopped by the JUST AS GOOD, I FUCKING LOVE SCIENCE!!! PROCESSED FOOD IS BETTER BECAUSE IT HAD A TEAM OF SCIENTISTS MAKE IT!!! arguments back in the 90s but we've now seen the results. Every country that tries to introduce an Americanized processed food diet sees health issues skyrocket. China and India are both seeing diabetes skyrocket, the two together have as many diabetics as the US has people.

It's poison but the FDA says if it takes 40 years to kill you, it's not their problem.

Because retards like yourself come in and make idiotic posts like that without reading a single page or even jumping through the highlights. Everything you've said has been addressed a dozen times over. In fact, I don't think you even understand what was being argued considering you're acting like all American food is "processed" goyslop.

I remember a voices of the past Video, where two russian travelers were shocked that the food in america all looked delicious, but was completely tasteless.

That's crab grass, here we consider it a weed, it's only eclipsed in annoyance by that weird stringy grass that acts like the flood from halo

You're a cheese

You do realize that yeast eats sugar? Sugar creates a lighter bread and you don’t taste it at all unless you add more sugar than the yeast can eat, and even in that case, it’s done primarily for its effects on texture, rather than sweetness.

That’s not even the same type of bread! Of course they have different ingredients! Your bread also has honey in it, which is added sugar.

Here’s a more similar type of bread from your grocery store:

Compare that to the American bread (I removed the 21 different seeds for clarity and because the Euro bread is plain):

The American bread does have more sugar per serving, but it’s also a molasses bread (unlike the Euro “toast” bread) so the extra sweetness is a byproduct of adding the molasses for flavor and coloring.
Overall I think we kinda agree.
Yes some of the sugar is eaten by the yeast and it's not sugary enough to be pastry or enrished bread.
But the fact it's the third ingredients in the bread is kinda telling. Usually in homebread making you can add a pinch of sugar but never more than salt tho.

Just the overall quality, use of conservative, sugar, fats and starters is different between the Us and Europe.

The taste, ingredients ,choice and texture is just better overall in Europe.
We can argue of much better tho.

Sorry Burgers, but with few exceptions Euro grocery stores are superior overall. The best I’ve found was in southern Texas, and I assume that has more to do with a long growing season and large port to import things into. As you move away from the coast items get worse and worse. Saying that, in general, American grocery stores are on par or better than the ones in Europe is a total cope. I suspect many making that argument don’t even have a passport.
what's the deal with the "iced tea" over there? Shit's got so much sugar in it has the consistency of polyethylene glycol.
The sugar part is mostly a southern thing. It’s repulsive. Non-sweetened iced tea can be nice though.
