Season 2 can't come soon enough imo, I don't even care if the quality drops, I was so much more motivated to work out seeing all those utterly fat hambeasts & emaciated zoomer speds.

It’s going to forever be a “you had to have been there” type show. I remember during the livestream I was attempting to explain to friends who hadn’t watched the show some of the conflicts between fish and the reason they were present, and unsurprisingly it took forever. If you want to go in depth on even a very small part of the show it will take you hours. That’s not an exaggeration.Teased schizo vance then showed literally 0 of him being schizo, just showed Jon referring to it later being annoyed with 0 context as to why.
Jet must be having fun on his pills at least, he can't even be coherent with the stuff that he literally teased 2 minutes earlier. Just like scribble down a time line, arc, structure before editing? Like write down big moments, set up clips teasing the big moments and making sure they have the proper context/weight for delivery, then have the pay offs. It's literally like 5 minutes of thought/effort.
It sucks I can't show anyone this because it's so bad it makes fishtank look boring and totally unintelligible.
My main fears with season 2 is that the participant will only be people that know about fish tank. Like orbiters on twitter are legit the worst option. There's way less magic if the person knows about the show and Sam.
I also fear the self references. Like I am pretty sure they will do something gay like. Hey guys look, it's airsoft fatty and Jon. Do you guys member the berries?
The wiggers hanging around Sam never bothered me because I could see how productive they were behind the scenes, but their friendship with Damiel makes me second guess everything. Even if he's secretly some hilarious comedian he's quite possibly one of the most unlikable people ever.Speaking of Damiel, the latest episode reminded me of exactly why I hated him. He slept around that house smug as though he was just playing around with the rest of these retards. Yet of all the contestants, the plant was the least productive member of society. Say what you want about Jon, but he’s unironically accomplished more than that pillhead ever will. Even Letty sitting on discord all day with her orbiters is probably more productive than whatever Damiel does between doses.
The amount of times he's openly referenced beating on an ex of his in the past, he's like a high school football star that got a CTE in senior year, re-re-re-re-re-reminiscing a glorious day. And I can't hear any shit about "I bet you really thought he had a pregnant wife" cuz he's still been talking about it. And they even added a basement reference to him beating on women in the documentary like we might appreciate the additional insight. In case you didn't notice, Damiel's all about beating on women! Vance beats on drums, Damiel...The wiggers hanging around Sam never bothered me because I could see how productive they were behind the scenes, but their friendship with Damiel makes me second guess everything. it's similar in nature to how when you'll try to explain conflicts or situations that happen to you or your friends to another person. to everyone involved everyone kind of knows what the fuck is going on progressively. but when you need to explain to someone, you will notice as you explain since the beginning that there was a lot of shit to unpack, "you just had to be there".I was attempting to explain to friends who hadn’t watched the show some of the conflicts between fish and the reason they were present, and unsurprisingly it took forever. choosing lolcows as main contestants would be an acute display of incompetence on jet's part. we don't need orbiters or established lolcows on the show. we need everyday "normal" peculiar people. There is no shortage of lolcows to tap.
Jet said the first 3 were edited right before they started airing, all the future ones including 4 will be shitty rush jobs he is doing since then. He took months to make those pieces of shit all the upcoming ones will just be whatever he can hack together. 4 will probably be better then the shit that follows, he'll just be panic editing to put anything together to air in like a week from now on lol.finally watched episode 4 + extras today and I gotta say the remainder of quality it still had practically up and left. I was enjoying the previous episodes, not amazing but also not horrible, however I think this one hit the bottom of the barrel personally.
IIRC at the start of the show they didn't check the fine print on their original hosting arrangement and got charged $30k for 3 days' worth of streaming bandwidthHey lads has sam / jet said what the surprise 30k cost was at the start of the show yet?

The Wefunder campaign hit its initial $1M goal, so for whatever reason (likely to get paypiggies to think they're getting in on a sweet deal) they raised the goal to $1.5M. Also the campaign doesn't seem to have an end date and who knows how the funds are managed so at least on the surface the whole thing seems like a convoluted way to donate the show money so Sam can roid rage more doors in half and destroy kitchens with a weed-whacker without putting any of his own/his investors' money in.
Looking at the campaign's description, there's absolutely no way Jet & co can pull off the stuff they promise. So far, they've doxed their users twice (in the beginning, your email was your username in chat, and later, they didn't use blind carbon copy for mass email notifications) and had a difficult time presenting a show that ended 5 months ago in a coherent and consistent manner, so I have a little hard time believing they'll be able to create a MMORPG without it having the worst possible execution.
I get why Jet is blocking negative comments from his feed now. This shit is annoying to read. There is not one single thing he could do that would make you like the project. Your only goal is to talk shit and hate mindlessly without any tact whatsoever. Nobody in this thread is praising Jet Neptune btw. He's pretty much universally disliked. Also I recommend reading at least a few pages of the thread before leaving a comment so you'd realize you're just repeating old information.Jet said the first 3 were edited right before they started airing, all the future ones including 4 will be shitty rush jobs he is doing since then. There's nothing wrong with being ambitious, but the thing that rubs me and probably others wrong about him is his arrogance and inability to take any criticism, however constructive. Nobody is expecting him to be next Peter Jackson or Ken Burns, but nevertheless, theres a minimum required amount of planning ahead and management for a project like this. Instead, the pacing is all out of whack and the show has zero consistency. It jumps between challenges, things are presented without any context, it's 4 episodes in and nobody has still mentioned what the show is even about. I predict it's going even more off the rails because they have to tell 30 days of story over 6 half-hour episodes. Why did they even restrict themselves to 10 episodes in the first place? I'm sure he learned a lot from the first season and that's okay. What is not okay is responding to any criticism with a variation of "I'm right, you just don't get the high art I'm making". Of course that's going to piss people off.I get why Jet is blocking negative comments from his feed now. This shit is annoying to read.
