But has that perception changed? Because I see the left as evil and irredeemable for the most part now and I can't be the only one that is starting to think this way as well.

There kind of is one, and it's called 1950s America. That's why the right wing pays lipservice to morality and supporting small business, but I don't think it could ever take off because the GOP is owned by megacorporations who hate morality (because they gotta sell products to troons) and push consooming. And "going back to the 1950s" is a dirty word now because the left believes that's what the GOP is all about whenever they criticize abortions or troons. Even though it shouldn't be a dirty word given the 1950s were the most prosperous time in history for Americans in terms of equality, GDP growth, and the fact the US controlled the entire planet (30% of global GDP, largest military on the planet, more missiles and nukes than the USSR).
I also fear the idea will die off soon because the right-wing boomers to whom this idea most panders to (since ya know, they grew up in the 50s) are rapidly dying off and thanks to modern education and pop culture the 1950s will only be remembered as a hateful, oppressive time where white men beat their wives all day in between oppressing black people while that mean ol' Joe McCarthy used the government to oppress innocent activists (I can't imagine why Hollywood and the modern education systems wants us to think that). Once they die off, Republicans will only bring up the 1950s as a hateful time we've made away from.
I don't even think we have a democracy anymore. The politicians are just window-dressing on the layers of government the actual decisions are being made at like the federal bureaucracy (and state bureaucracies too). 2020 proved that when a bunch of unelected bureaucrats suspended everyone's constitutional rights for months and months.

Bit more than just that but that is the more public reasoning. It's also because the man expects Trump to win and that terrifies him. He is actively losing face and support from the side in power by making this overture. He'd not do so just to sound Trump out. He likely believes Trump will win and also knows Trump has taken a steadily more hardline stance towards him. Trump getting in very well could constitute a worst-case-scenario for him. Losing American aid publically would have much more than just a materiel effect, it would shatter Ukrainian morale.

I disagree. Trump's position has been "I'll fix it in a day", but he's never gone into detail of what that actually means. Zelensky is well aware that Putin made no moves during Trump's previous term, out of a beleif that Trump's response to aggression would be wildly disproportionate compared to any other leader (to the point that he is rumoured to have threatened to bomb moscow in general, and Putin in particular). Trump's willingness to go after leaders instead of "tactical" targets was proven when he bombed that Iranian general.
There's also the fact that Trump and Zelensky had the beginnings of a good relationship after his election; Trump was among the very first to call and congratulate him. Trump released the military aid that Obama had been stalling for his entire second term almost as soon as Zelensky was in office. Zelensky, for his part, was willing to cooperate with Trump in searching out existing foreign corruption in Ukraine. It was because of this fact, that he was so willing to help Trump, that the quid-pro-quo lie was first spread around. Zelensky's government sided with Trump during the subsequent investigation, something that is often lost in the morass.
Trump is critical of the war, certainly. His instinct is that the US should not be entangled in foreign wars, which I am sure a lot of people here agree with. However, I think his solution will not be to force territorial concessions from Zelensky. Instead, I suspect he will use the war for domestic advantage, by making continued material aid contingent on getting his wall finished, establishing tighter immigration rules, and dealing with other internal issues. His argument will be one that has been echoed here: if the US is protecting Ukraine's borders, why is she not protecting her own? Alternatively, he may choose to resolve the war by re-establishing the threat of personal consequences for Putin or his senior staff, but I think that's less likely.

So I've cited the "Beautiful Trouble" website before, it's basically the radical left's manipulation book. Stuff like "make sure you film things so you can selectively edit it and send it to allies in the media, having it pre-edited makes it easier for them to get it past the editors." It's one of many books and ops they use to train their activists that incite riots and then go into hiding, like the green armband wearing "legal observers" from the Weather Underground's legal team.
Israel has their own version of the site up now for manipulating Western media about the ongoing stuff.
And it links to even more similar sites, designed for paid activists and volunteer types to have ready made manipulation material to spread:
Probably needs a deep dive by pro autists. It reeks of the same sort of organization effort the radical left does to arm their shills and trolls, but whoopsydoodle, the radical left is currently protesting that Israel deserved it.
Just interesting to see this play out as they try to manipulate us into allowing (or ideally, performing) war crimes. Watch out for US Media and Politicians getting their marching orders.

If there's any one thing that portends hard times ahead, it's that one political party in this country is coalescing around the idea that around a hundred million people in this country are not entitled to any voice in government at all.
I don't see any way forward. The Democrats have successfully propagandized their base to coalesce around the idea that white men are an enemy to be defeated, vermin to be purged, a parasite to be rooted out. Any government that isn't trying to actively subvert our interests and inflict harm on us as a group is, by the new definition, "fascist."
The common thread here is that the Democrats have been willing to destroy the foundations of a peaceful, democratic, liberal society - from corrupting elections to infinite 3rd worlders to legalizing crime to vilifying the people who make everything work - for no other reason than they think it'll give them a marginal edge in the next election. And they seem to think that once they've destroyed everything that stands in the way of their power, then they can save the world.
Or, at least, some of them think that. Because another thing they destroyed en route to power is the integrity of their own party. Not that a political party ever has much to begin with, but it seems now that the majority of Democratic power brokers are just in the game to loot the till. So even the utopian idealists who think they'll implement the entire WEF playbook once they have unchallenged power have to contend with the fact that the Bidens and Clintons in the party are just going to sell them out to collect graft.
I don't see how you can fix this, unless someone with Stalin-like cunning rises to power in the Democratic Party and purges the thieves and the people who overtly hate America.

There are only 3-4 million Muslims living in the United States. With the Blinken Administration down so bad, is it fair to assume that sandniggers have reached a critical mass of influence over the democratic base of low IQ (alcoholic) suburban housewives?
Even with the media constantly running ops against Trump and propping up the figurehead of the Blinken admin, the former was still viewed more favorably than the latter at this stage in his presidency.
