There's also the large amount of people who would rather choose to down pills rather than talk to a therapist, they're usually the ones who don't want to actually change for the better, but to suppress their emotions. I had this same thought earlier; that this is not in fact 'the manifesto' at all but rather just an unrelated journal. Certainly it doesn't really sound like it was addressed to anyone in the style of a manifesto.

Might have just been her day planner or current journal she was keeping and these were the entries leading up to the shooting. She obviously had a thing for keeping journals. I read there were 18 or so found at her house. Interesting opportunity for people who studies these things, since meticulous journal keeping isn’t usually a spree or school shooter trait. It could be an ongoing record of her internal monologue.

Modern manifestos tend to ape a lot dumb right or left wing memes, in this case the language of anti-white BLM talking points. So they tend to be superficial and “I agree with these opinions” type material. But reading a person’s private writing/thoughts over a series of years, as they progress to the point of a committing a mass/school shooting, is a pretty rare opportunity. We usually just get a web search histories and a smattering of posts online or some scribbled notebook pages.

And playing devil's advocate for a second, if the FBI is involved then maybe they took all the journals along with the manifesto to try and construct a psychological profile, since as you say meticulous record keeping for shooters on this level is rare, especially considering this was a white woman who decided to destroy everything around her for basically no good reason.

He definitely did because my thought last night was I would need to check online tmrw around noon to see what more he released, since he was hyping his 10 am show for more tmrw and I knew I couldn’t tolerate listening him drone on for two hours teasing a few more pages.

From the media reports, and court filings, it described a journal being found in her car. I think “manifesto” just became a media shorthand because it’s more exciting than suicide note. Court filing on the matter have specified “20 journals, a suicide note and a memoir” but nothing about a manifesto. I can’t recall if the suicide note was in the car or left on her desk at home.

The journals would definitely be a goldmine for the FBI to study. An atypical school shooter, the type that throw off profiles due to their unique attributes. The coveted exception to the rule.

The fact that the case is closed due to Audrey’s death might have meant any “property” taken as evidence will be to the parents since there would be no need to keep it for criminal prosecution. This might have been why the parents signed away all legal ownership to the victim’s group, in May or June, to decide what would become of it.

Transfer of ownership gave the victims group possible standing in the legal fight over releasing them or not. The matter has just gone before the TN Supreme Court of Appeals in mid-October and a ruling expected in the coming weeks.

As much as I'd like to see the uncensored version, there is unlikely to be much visible damage on entry. Exit would might be different but even the autopsy report was rather tame.
