Exactly. Look, no job is a perfect fit for everyone, I get it. But Jack and Jr. lucked into some positions that other people, with actual work ethic/desire/talent, would KILL for...and they messed it up due to a combination of idiocy, laziness, and a belief that they were destined for something bigger and better. At Jr.'s age, and with his other job "prospects", that HVAC job with a steady and very respectable paycheck and the potential for moving up into management...all without any kind of schooling...was a Godsend. He's not going to do any better and boy has that been made clear by his trajectory since. Same with Jack, he wanted to be a Youtuber and managed to steer that straight into the toilet after an at least semi successful beginning.

Because he's got it in his head that he can be 'the working mans' cooking channel, focusing on budget meals. This decision is definitely not influenced by the fact that budget meals tend to be greasy, fatty, salty measures servable in large quantities with shelf stable ingredients so you can make them at 3am on a tuesday because you woke up with a terrible pain in your chest that's obviously hunger. Because Jack thinks people watch to actually get cooking recipes and tips from him. In reality, anyone watching Jack for legitimate recipes probably died from it years ago.
