I really hope I didn't come off as preachy or derail relevant discussion. I've intentionally stayed out of the religious discussion until now specifically because I don't want my personal beliefs to taint the conversation. I'm a Greek Orthodox, which is a very small minority in the US, so I don't really feel like I should have a say on what is or isn't acceptable in mainstream American Protestant circles, with one exception: the divinity of Christ.
The Nicene Creed, created in 325 AD, is very specific, and
ALL mainstream Christian denominations, regardless of doctrine, adhere to the tenets in the Creed, whether they are aware of the Creed or not. It is the fundamental basis of organized Christianity. The entire reason I brought it up and stood so stiffly on the issue is because Nick brought up that he was a Christian during the Sidescrollers interview, and people still give him the benefit of the doubt that he is a "Christian," even if just some weird bastard heretic.
I just wanted to be very clear, that I have a lot of knowledge on this subject specifically, and I can say, definitively, that Nick is
NOT any kind of Christian, heresy or otherwise. When he claims he is a Christian it is a lie. He is lying, full stop.
Apologies to
@Himedall All-seeing Waifu if I came off as abrasive.
