Linus Gabriel Sebastian & Linus Media Group / Linus Tech Tips - Narcissistic corporate shill YouTuber driving his media empire into the ground. KILL COUNT: 2

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
He doesn't live or own a business in NYC anymore. He moved to Austin.
You can take the man out of NYC, but you can't take the NYC out of the man. Louis Rossmann is institutionalized.

Also, this is a reminder that "Linus Tech Tips" is only successful because an idiot who tries to cool his computer using his pool shares a first name with Linus Torvalds, the actual "Linus" of the tech industry.

Yeah, but the effect is everlasting. I know a guy who went bald in 1.5 years by merely running a shitty takeaway in that hole.

Another video on Adblockers, guess who gets a mention?

When Matt Jarbo had that "turn off the pesky adblock" skit, he got a lot of backlash. This guy is how much worse? Jarbo never compared using an adblocker to theft.

It's hilarious how Linus sperged out about muh "adblock is theft" but him selling off the prototype is actually literal theft.

He's redefined "theft" to mean whatever makes him look good and others look bad.

Because his bug brain NEEDS more money from those ads. You need to be shamed into thinking you're pirating from him so he can have that 0.2 cents from you. Only then can he put it into more retarded projects and prototype theft.

It's personally fascinating over the past 3 or so years stepping back and looking at how much he whores for the algorithm and optimizes his business to have gotten it to an alleged $100 mil valuation. Maybe I just don't watch many people online but I can't think of anyone who tryhards as much as him.

If you think linus hates adblock, you should hear how livid he gets about sponsorblock.
"Give us a chance to tell you about something interesting."

What a joke. He has the same rotation of sponsors over and over. I don't need to hear about Glasswire or dbrand for the 30th fucking time.

Here are the sponsors from his last 3 videos:
  1. iPhone Gaming: Ridge Wallet & Mod Mic
  2. PS5 Slim: Dbrand, Ridge Wallet, DeleteMe (WTF 3 in one video?)
  3. $30 vs $10k Racing Setup: Whole video sponsored by EA & Codemasters
Why would anyone want to sit through this shit?

Noticed this while updating a Debian box to bookworm
Code:
apt (2.3.12) unstable; urgency=medium

The solver will no longer try to remove Essential or Protected packages,
any dependency problem that would need such a solution will have to be
  resolved manually.

The "Yes, do as I say" prompt for removing essential packages has been
replaced by an error message. The appropriate command-line option needs
  to be used instead.

Thank you to Linus Tech Tips and System76 for bringing this issue
  to our attention.

The typical LMG video probably only runs for about 30 seconds when SponsorBlock is turned on.
