- He doubled down on his gaslighting about his case. He also recounted what Spectre told him when he talked to Schneider. The reason he took the case is because he hates Nick for wearing shorts into his office and being 2 days late with discovery because his client was uncooperative. He was wearing that because he had a weekly Whiskey party with local business owners every Friday at his old office.
Lets work through this-
Originally there appeared to be two separate stories about what happened at the office.
Nick said that Schneider told Spectre that he thought that Nick was a bad representative of the legal profession because he turned up in a polo shirt and shorts to the office of Schneider's firm, an opinion formed in callous disregard of his heat allergy.
Spectre's Discord messages about the conversation told a different story. IIRC it was more that Nick ignored the requirement to submit interrogatories and instead turned up to his office to chat informally about the case.
Nick's explanation this time appears to merge both of these stories. Schneider is still mad about the polo and shorts. But now Nick concedes that he was there to submit the responses to the interrogatories and they were two days late, but he blames the client, saying he initially refused to answer them.
What's more interesting is the additional reason he provides for why he was wearing the polo and shorts. Before it was just a heat allergy thing.
But now, he says that it was a Friday, and on Fridays he invited local business owners to his office to drink whiskey "
around lunchtime", and that's what he's dressed for. "
I would bring 3 to 5 bottles of different scotches [...]
I would say, 'Let's go! Let's just drink whatever we want, however much you want.' And we would have a couple drinks each..." He says that this typically lasted for "
two, three hours".
He specifies that he drove to Schneider's office as a stop on his way home from his whiskey drinking get-together with his business owner friends.
Now, we have seen what drinking "whatever we want, however much you want" for "two, three hours" looks like for Rekieta in 2023 because he does it on his show. Very rarely would he be in a state to drive or engage with opposing counsel after 2-3 hours of drinking.
Hopefully, six years ago he wasn't an alcoholic and was able to stretch a one (or two at a push) glasses of whiskey out for 2-3 hours.
He went on a rant about the 5k grift for 10+ minutes. He blames his manufacturer ghosting him. He claims it will cost between 40-60k USD.
A similar thing happened with the contractor and the sex dungeon.
This isn't normal.
