In OKC there is actually a good public transport system called EMBARK which is inspired by Dallas' robust system. Same here, but I guess I wasn’t very clear. Once a Dr does the paperwork for a disabled parking permit (for a licensed driver), whether permanent or temporary, the driver has a medical condition attachment to their licence which will trigger the requirement for regular medical clearances.

I had a temporary permit issued about 7 years ago due to a fracture in a foot. I was relegated to being a passenger at the time, but the permit is issued to the person needing it , not the car it is used in. Once the foot was healed post surgical repair, I just let the permit expire. Years later, I received the medical exam paperwork from the DMV. Both myself and the Dr had no idea why, so when I submitted the clearance paperwork I asked, and was told that’s standard practice after a driver has been issued a disabled permit, regardless of whether it’s permanent or short term like mine was. That will continue happening now every 5 years until I get a doctor to ask for the condition to be removed from my license. He would have done it last time, but we didn’t know the reason they had requested the medical.

Not Amber's unit number - just a comparible first floor apartment currently available. Hers might have been a little cheaper, as she negotiated that back in August/September, and I just got this off of their website 5 minutes ago.

IRT the shopping with Destiny and Amber, that was obviously an attempt by Amber to try and control as much of Destiny's free time as possible. Amber's current grocery shops with mammy are looking to follow the same pattern. Let's be real: Amber's a fucking TANK. ONE package of paper-thin pork chops? ONE TV dinner?

Oh, and in case anyone here is looking for a new reaction channel to listen to, I found this person called "Jade's Speculation Station". Her reaction style is similar to Zachary Michaels, Narc Alert, etc., in format (as opposed to Bottle and Faxx's style), but much better than them (IMO). She scripts her reacts so they have good flow, and she's funny with the silly edits she adds (without the edits slowing down the pace). Not here. There are temporary ones for, say, a broken foot that the doctor can say should last six months, but if you have a condition that is negative for a year but eventually maybe goes away or in remission, it’s never checked again. After five years the DMV will send you a form asking if you still need it but it’s on the honor system. No checkups necessary. HIPPA laws I guess.

I bet that Amber tried this with Kristine when she first moved. I also can understand Kristine agreeing since Amber just moved into a new flat and was trying to get settled in. However, typical Amber, probably texted Kristine several times a day for her to pick her up to get 2 or 3 items at Target or Walmart. It worked with Becky and Jade, at least for a while. I am sure that it did not take long for Kristine to realise what Amber was doing and she would have none of it, thus the talked about driving.
