I agree its disgusting but the point im making is that under modern liberal atheist morality whats the reasoning for keeping incest iilegal most the people outraged over the coffin of Andy and Layley are liberals so how can a liberal thats fine with gay sex minors transitioning interacial sex etc. be opposed to incest on the basis of its nasty or bad for the kids when studies show hapas are worse off than first generation incest babies and they have no moral obligation against it aside from so called power imbalances and its just gross dude

It's not a question worth asking, the premise is flawed because it essentially equates to "what's the reasoning for keeping [insert topic] illegal under [insert bad ideology which should be rejected]", because society can only have one rule of law under one direction.

The law cannot be derived from two competing ideologies simultaneously. It's like asking if murder should be legal under ancient Aztec morality, it's an automatic no.

Ok then. "Fuck libtards, who gives a fuck what they think" is the simple way to put it.

To entertain the question as to why some are outraged, it is twofold:

1) Natural instinctual revulsion
2) Residual cultural influence of Christian morality in society

The first point is self-explanatory, the second deserves some elaboration. The bulk of western morality is Christian centered, and incest is impermissible, deemed to be a sin of sexual immorality.

Atheists, although rejecting God directly, are still a product of being raised in a predominately Christian culture, and so therefore have been nurtured with these influences to such an extent as to often hold indistinguishable moral views from Christians. The only difference is Christians have a reason for their morality--obedience to God--whereas an Atheist can never provide a satisfactory answer from where they derive their morality, or especially why it should be observed.

Tldr; Incest is naturally gross even to libtard Atheists, and they still see it as taboo for now because they're raised in a (decaying) Christian culture.

Yes, birth control is accessible to many people, but there are still plenty of scenarios where it's inaccessible, a man chooses to forego a condom, etc. that could result in the development of an abomination. Another example: those who would take such a risk by committing incest in the first place don't strike me as responsible people who can be trusted to do even basic things like taking birth control consistently, without fail. Such people would likely have to get drunk first in order to mentally impair them both enough to think that fucking their sibling is a good idea, thereby furthering the chances of an undesired pregnancy.

The interpersonal aspects of it are also important, as you touched on in the OP, but I'll leave it at that since my post is already autistically long-winded as it stands.

LOL, nice pfp jokes aside, my argument against incest, unlike OPs, is simple: ! it might help your relationship with your sibling. Hypothecally, if it did, then the only other argument is the inbreeding issue. but Inbred kids of the first generation do not have significant issues, especially compared to mixed-race kids, so the argument against incest can also be made for other things this country deems moral like race mixing, so my view is simple.

Incest is immoral and should be banned along with race mixing.

But the issue at hand here is that it is hard for liberal sexual morality to justify incest being illegal but not race mixing if you factor in on-demand abortions, so even if no birth control is involved, the chances of the kid turning out bad are slim to none, and that argument could be made for eugenics and banning race mixing.
