Apparently Kevin McCarthy elbowed one of his colleagues in the back while he was talking to an NPR reporter.

Talk about a downward spiral. He gets voted out as house speaker by his own party (and the Democrats didn't help him despite him bending over backwards to get them their Ukrainian laundering money) and now he's picking fights within his own ranks. He just had to learn the hard way nobody likes a traitor, even those who benefit from their treachery.

Shit like this is why i never take trump hate seriously. It's hard to when shit like this is treated as some form of bravery

"and then everyone clapped"
I can open MS paint and type out a magic the gathering card with a fake quote in 1993 era internet colors and fonts too.
Doesn't mean it ever fucking happened.

Republicans taking two Ls in a row. Guess it's something for their wife's bull to shame them with.

This is shameful.
The GOP will lose the house for this.
I certainly will be skipping the down-ballot in 2024.

How Each Member Voted on the House Stopgap Spending Measure

Notable "No/Nay" Votes:

Continuing with the trend of the House of Representatives in this Congress the Democrats effectively voted in lockstep while Republicans were much more divided. One can wonder if there will be another game of Speaker musical chairs over this. Considering Gaetz who led the charge in the past has some ongoing drama with McCarthy, talked up how great Johnson was and went through the chaos of voting for a new Speaker there is a good chance at the very least he won't do anything.

Use the house clerk's site (https://clerk.house.gov/Votes/2023658 ).
Don't give NY Slimes clicks
(also, I'm pretty sure by law the house clerk can't fuck with, memory-hole, or "otherwise" mess with the public records presented there - the house clerk's site is arguably the only archive more iron-clad than archive.is)

I won’t be skipping it because none of these losers will be on the ballot after primary season.

Even if they somehow manage to beat their challengers, I’m still not skipping the down ballot races because even the worst RINO is better than the best Democrat because Democrats are a hive mind that enthusiastically thinks about ways to destroy the country whereas RINOs just want to grift.

I somehow doubt the capacity to muster a credible primary challenge against all 127 traitors.
Bear in mind you're better off with democrats in those seats if they're not primaried, because at least the democrat doesn't lie to you about his agenda.

Congratulations, your refusal to punish traitors in your own lines guarantees the donors get everything they want and you get pounded in the ass by keffals.

If you don't have the courage to punish your own traitors, you will never have an effective force to fight your enemy.

Case and point:
Pelosi organized a deliberate massacre of blue dogs and lost her majority.
Within a few years she was back in the majority with actual fighters who got her agenda through.
DO NOT BE AFRAID TO KEEL-HAUL RINOS.
They are your enemies as much as democrats. Suffering a few years of democrat rule is worth it to purge them.

Pelosi lost her majority in 2010 and didn't get it back until 2018. Republicans held the Senate, so she was not able to pass her agenda, but only what she negotiated with the Trump administration and Senate Republicans.

It wasn't until 2020 that Pelosi gained enough power to start ramming her agenda through. That's ten years in the political wilderness.

If all the RINOs get politically exterminated and replaced with Democrats, you are going to see multitrillion dollar "climate" laws that destroy this once-great Country. We can't afford to purge the RINOs. We need Kevin and Liz and Mitt. We need the Kinzingers of the world to unite under our Beautiful Republican Party!

Sincerely,
Ronna Romney

She had a caucus who actually played hardball and used the house's power of the purse.
She got what she wanted the moment she had the gavel because of that.

As opposed to now, where we have multitrillion dollar "climate" laws destryoing this once-great Country.. now with "GOP" approval.

Damnit.. you got me!
YOU FUCKING GOT ME YOU MADMAN!

I have to strongly disagree. Having a Republican who'll sell you out for thirty pieces of silver is no better than having a Marxist who wants to groom your kids.

It's worse.
The lower info GOP voters look at the (R) next to the name and assume they will actually fight (D).
It's very important that R's who don't fight D be ousted for that reason.
When joe 6-pack low-fo R looks at the ballot and sees the incumbent is a (D) they'll actually vote him out.

If a RINO can't be ousted via primary, and enough MAGA in a deep red district vote D, the next election guarantees a turnover back to an R with a more MAGA outlook

The only times I voted R in the last two elections were either because Trump was running or there wasn't a third party option.

There are two things I want in a politician. I want someone who believes in our Civil Liberties and someone who believes the age of consent is a good thing. Republicans don't believe in our Civil Liberties, Libertarians don't believe in the age of consent, and the Democrats don't believe in either.

My minimum bar is "don't lie to me about your political affiliation"
I'd rather have a democrat who doesn't gaslight me about trooning kids than a "republican" who spends every vote in congress helping the democrats troon kids.
Only after we have that level of honesty can we move further up "not-Maslow's heirarchy of political needs"

If my congressman is a liar, I will vote for the most viable way to unseat him, regardless of what letter exists on the opposition's name.
Only when I have ousted what I am ethically-bound to vote against can I start voting "for" something.

This is more like it. I wanna see other senators say "cash me outside" and shit. Make politics more like the WWE.
Let two consenting adults fight, this should happen more in politics.
Yes, unironically this. Not just politicians but also grifters. Force Ben Shapiro to fight Candace Owens. If he somehow wins, force him to fight Cenk Uyger. Maybe if more politicians and grifters had the experience of getting their ass kicked at some point in their life, our society wouldn't be so fucked up.

Watching Bernie Sanders recoil at the lightest hint of violence was something to behold. "Goys, goys, goys....let's calm down and act like adults". Just a microcosm of jewish subversion, that.
