Powermetal is what happens when an e-guitar fucks a dungeon and dragons rulebook. Hell, one of the more recent bands is called "Paladin". It's nerd stuff. I unironically love it.

I meant more the Cinemassacre truth subreddit then people here. People on that sub seem genuinely upset/obsessed about Sex Diaper and I don't get it. James autism dancing is hilarious tho

I don't mind some power metal but I find the singing style to be really hit or miss depending on the band and a lot of it's fucking garbage. They always have cool album art though. I remember years ago buying an iced earth CD because it looked cool but the music was kind of meh.

For a d&d rock/metal love child band my favourite's Hawkwind. A band that was entirely dedicated to writing music about Michael Moorcock's eternal champion saga.

My favourite song by them is this version of Dragons and Fables from their live album version of Chronicles of the Black Sword.


The live version's got a slightly faster tempo and I like the way the guitar sounds better than in the studio version.

James is mad. Comments on not just the latest Rex Viper upload got turned off but ALL comments on all Rex Viper videos have been turned off. The comments were on for about 2 months as well. So James must have just noticed the comments.

My hypothesis: he's still going to plug away at this deeply unpopular side project until the album is finally out and then James will convince himself to stop -not because of overwhelmingly negative reactions- but because in his mind he had "made it" he's now the world's #1 rock star who has to hang up the guitar and he'll cling to whatever meaningless accomplishment he was able to orchestrate via mental gymnastics. When the album bombs I guarantee you that he will say "The album trended #1 in retro video game albums on Itunes!" And how many retro video game albums can you think of? It's that old trick hack comedians do where they say their album was #1 on Itunes but only because there's almost no competition when it comes to comedy albums.

This game is by Screenwave Media, who now publish their games under the name Retroware. Ie the company that runs - and maybe owns - Cinemassacre now. Big Ryan and Justin using their pawn James to shill their latest game

None of them are in the credits of the videos anymore so IDK if that’s right. I’ve always doubted the claim that Screenwave owned Cinemassacre. ScrewAttack and GameTrailers did a lot of the same work with Cinemassacre back in the day and they never owned it so…

What I say is a lot more nuanced. Such as my last post where I was merely explaining what the new video was. There was no hyping up or grandstanding like you pretend that I do. Or even one of my other more recent posts where I said the word cringe is overused, but it 100% rightfully applies to Rex Viper.

You think that anyone who doesn’t absolutely hate James’ guts like you do is a Uber fanboy that jerks off to his videos. That’s how warped your sense of reality is.
