Seriously. How? I've broken several bones and have suffered many injuries, once breaking both clavicles and fractured some ribs. The only pain that ever had me on my knees in agony, crying, and wishing I would just die so it would end is when I broke a tooth biting a chunk of bone in minced meat. That fucking tooth was the most painful thing I've ever experienced, the constant throbbing agony was a nightmare that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Even the narcotic pain killers they gave me to cope until it was repaired did nothing to alleviate the torture. This dude has a whole mouth full of that, I don't understand. He's going to get an infection and die if Clint doesn't intervene.
Retard-strenth includes higher pain tolerance, speaking from experience. Add in perpetual drunkeness and you got a retarded tank

I'm really surprised that he hasn't at this point. Really does seem like he's given up but I'd peg this new tooth situation as a pretty big emergency.

His retard strength is legendary then, getting drunk af has to be his idea of dealing with the tooth pain. At this point I'm starting to wonder if he's getting his boglim mitts on meth.

Not to derail thread but you are 100% right. Who in the hell likes to floss? Eventually after doing it daily for about month, it became second nature, and now it is no big deal to where it feels weird if I don't do it.
My mouth feels disgusting if I skip it too long. I don't do it every day but any time I can actually feel stuff between my teeth out comes the floss. This can be more than once a day if I eat beef jerky or popcorn or something.

I honestly can't comprehend what has to be wrong with your brain that you let your teeth get in that state. I mean what the fuck. I can sort of understand with a disgusting schizoid like Nick Bate, but Josh, while incompetent, is not that insane. Has anyone irl even seen teeth this bad? I haven't.

I've seen worse tooth-wise. He's lucky he has really straight teeth naturally or had braces at some point because if his teeth were all on top of each other they'd be rotted away a long time ago.

Yeah, unfortunately he's doing everything he can to prove he's not capable of taking care of himself. Getting dentures isn't going to be as easy as he thinks, too. It will be a process that I'm willing to bet he's too stupid/lazy to follow. He will probably need to be on an antibiotics cycle leading to the extraction, so his gums are manageable. He will also likely need a bone graft procedure to even support dentures at this point. I'm sure it will be multiple visits and Clint will have to hold his hand every step of the way.
I've mentioned before that i used to be adental assistant, and you hit the nail on the head over all those points.

His mouth is so bad at this point, it wont be a simple fix. He first needs a general appointment for an examine and x-rays, he will be perscribed antibiotics at this point. No sane doctor will attempt to extract right away untill the infection is manageable. They will probably do a deep cleaning (Scaling and root planing) and maybe even a lasar treatment on the periodontal pockets to clear them of tartar, pus, and any diseased tissue.

While the antibiotics kick in, he would need to follow a strict teeth hygiene routine. Brushing 2-3 a day, periodontal or salt rinse after every meal, flossing right before bed, and preferably a water pik to reach under the gums.

His second visit would be the extractions. This could be done all in one visit, but if his teeth are so brittle that they begin crumbling and leaving roots stuck deep within the gums, he may be referred to an oral surgeon to surgically extract them. This may take several appointments as it's more difficult.

He would then have to heal from this, and continue his mouthwash and antibiotics.

Next step would be adding bone grafts deep under his gums where the gingivitis would have eaten away at his jaw bone. This can be done with a sythetic graft that stimulates bone growth, donor bone from somewhere on his body or even cadaver tissue (how gothic twu) healing from this can take anywjere from two weeks to several months.

At that point, he can finally get dentures. If he is lucky and if the grafts take well enough, possibly implants

My mother had pretty nasty teeth but nowhere near Cobes'. She had genuinely not visited the dentist for over 17 years when suddenly she had mouth issues and needed her teeth fixed.
While my mother has always brushed her teeth, she had still somehow neglected her dental health besides failing to see a dentist. She got a really bad case of infection in her gums after the initial dentist visit that broke the 17 years of avoiding the dentist's office, which didn't just go away with antibiotics and it took literally years before she got her shit fixed. She wound up needing to get almost all of her teeth pulled and dentures/permanently fixtured prosthetics. I think she got to keep like four of her teeth. Something about jaw bone shrinkage and fitting the prosthetics.
I forget the final total of the multitudes of surgeries and travelling to Budapest as a medical tourist, and she still has to visit the Hungarian dentist once a year due to insurance reasons.

TLDR simply just brushing your teeth every day isn't enough to ensure perfect dental health. Remember to floss your teeth and if you have a phobia of dentists, see a dentist who specialises in that.
Your teeth don't regrow and while modern medicine is fantastic, prosthetics still need to be taken care of, as does your gum and jaw health.

I genuinely feel sympathy for Josh with regards to his current dental situation. So much of your body relies on good oral health and bad oral health says a lot about a person's mental state as well.
Knowing he's too fucking stupid AND too stubborn to take care of himself is just heartbreaking.

Cobes would be a very poor candidate for implants. Everything you've said would all have to be done under the watchful eye of Homedad Clint, especially since he's going to have to twist Cobes' arm to ensure the minimum gets done. It's possibly been mentioned in his earlier vids before his chompers became a topic that Clint had to drag him to the dentist just for some basic dental work.

I'd like to also add that KCJFS most likely grinds his teeth in his sleep. That accelerates some of the damage and chipping that occurs along with everything else he does to damage his teeth.

Would Cobes even be able to maintain braces if he had them? Light PL but I had braces throughout middle and high school and I thought I was kinda lazy when it came to cleaning them. The idea of Cobes with braces is horrifying to me. Like if you eat a bowl of cereal a good portion of it gets stuck in the small spaces around your mouth.

How is he not in agony 24/7? Are all the nerves in his mouth completely dead? Holy shit.
Fun fact! The condition that Cobes is suffering from may actually be advanced periodontitis, rather than ulcerative gingivitis (trench mouth). Periodontitis leads to the loss of bone in the jaw due to chronic inflammation, but is actually painless in an of itself. If there are additional issues with the teeth themselves it is possible for the nerve ending within the tooth itself can die, which also results in painlessness of the tooth.

Without getting tools and poking at his gums it's a little difficult to determine exactly what his oral diseases are, but there seems to be both a gum disease and tooth disease going on.

Good oral healthcare is probably the best way to improve quality of life. Think about it. Better smelling breath, no pain while eating, no bleeding while eating, no general discomfort while not eating, brushing and flossing are more enjoyable than a nuisance.

What boggles my mind is that with so many eating videos he has, we have never seen his mouth bleed. I know his foods are mostly geriatric level of softness but still, his gums are in such bad shape that almost any brush with a dorito would cause bleeding.
