Yeah I was on the fence about this because the evidence was ambiguous and the sources were untrustworthy but I'm convinced that at least most of the Swattings were called by Pat or people Pat paid to do them. If anyone other than Pat was responsible for the Swattings then there would have been no reason to stop them after the court date. Even if you theorise that it was Quasi himself doing it to put pressure on Pat to pay up, there's still the second debt so why stop then?

He may have not been responsible for the first one (the one with HAVE YOU ANY IDEA) but the sympathy he garnered from it may have lit a very dim bulb in his alcohol-soaked brain that this could be a way out of his predicament. The evidence is overwhelming now. The bomb threat to the wrong theatre. Taking "credit" for unrelated bomb scares. The fact that so many of them just happened to take place while he was out of the house. The fact that he was tweeting about some of them before they were called in.

He wasted massive amounts of Police resources. Cops showed up to his house when they could have been saving lives. He put his wife in danger. He put the cops and members of the public in danger. Everyone is endangered when loaded firearms are wielded in anger, it's a situation that so often ends in tragedy. All of that to try to get out of paying a debt he ran up due to his own narcissism and stupidity, because his ego couldn't handle people making fun of him.
