I took a look at Rumble's numbers today. They are weird. Remember, they went public by merging with, basically, a shell of a listed company. Just prior to that, they merged with Locals. They have a lot of cash on hand ($250+ mil), even relative to their outgoings. Like, enough they could buy Odysee. I can't imagine why (maybe if some of the lbry stuff could help save bandwidth?). Wrt how Rumble has behaved, I can't imagine why they have kept on some people and dropped others.
The Salty Cracker drop, along with the Mersh signing, are interesting signs. Barnes 100% knows people in Rumble, and he has said they want to move their image from "right-leaning" youtube to just "not Google" video platform. He may be right on the 35%- certainly he'd have a better idea than most people. Combine that signing and non-signing, and the only real Ace Balldoman has, is his timeslot. Normal fucks aren't up at late night, so he is drawing some eyes. At some point though, it's not eyeballs they will want, but advertiser-friendly / key demographic eyeballs, and well, wine moms aren't it.
I have no idea what Rumble will do. For Nick's health, it would be best if they dumped his ass, because that might speed up his low point. But Rumble's not in the business of catering to Balldoman. I don't know what they are in the business of, with their weird contract signings and quick drops. Very scattershot, 90s tech vibe.
Edit: some people in this thread have thought the contract was up, and they were corrected. Some times I wonder if there are weirdos of Balldoman (or in his sphere of grossness) trying to post straw men to go, "Ah-ha! The farms are wrong again!" Like they tried to pull on that one thing, about him being a cuck or whatever. But this thread polices itself pretty well.
